Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1147

Aurora pulled Angie to a secluded spot.

"Angie, we're in the same boat now, aren't we?"

Angie nodded. "Yes."

"There's something I need your help with. Once this is done, no one will ever know what we did."

"What is it?" Angie asked, noticing Aurora's expression as if she was planning something major.

Aurora leaned in and whispered something in her ear.

Angie's face turned pale with shock. "What? Me? Why don't you do it?"

Aurora gripped her hand tightly. "You're smarter and better at thinking on your feet. I wouldn't trust anyone else with this."

"But I can't guarantee success. What if..."

"You'll succeed," Aurora assured Angie with a calming smile. "I will do everything I can to become Theo's wife. When that happens, you'll be my cousin, and whatever you want will be yours. Don't forget, we're talking about Theodore Spencer, the CEO of SK Enterprise. I can ensure you'll have plenty of money. If you like him, I can even arrange something."

Angie's heart wavered at the mention of being with Theodore. "Would you really?"

"Why wouldn't I? A man as outstanding as Theodore could never have just one woman. Instead of letting someone else benefit, it's better to keep it in the family."

Angie couldn't hide her excitement. She swallowed hard, already envisioning the possibilities.

She had always admired Theodore. To her, he was her ideal man. Her adoration for him had become second nature-she dreamed of him, sided with him, and idolized him.

Seeing the hesitation fade from Angie's eyes, Aurora knew she had convinced the latter.

Half an hour later...

Angie, dressed in a nurse's uniform and carrying a medical tray, arrived at the ward's door.

At this time of night, nurses often checked on patients, so the bodyguards didn't stop her and let her through without question. Less than two minutes later, Angie, still disguised as a nurse, exited the ward quietly and left unnoticed by the bodyguards.

Theodore drove Rosalie back to her building.

"Thank you for sending me home. Drive safely on your way back." Rosalie cradled Steve and prepared to get out of the car. "Rose," Theodore called out.

Rosalie turned back. "Is there something else?"Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

"Let me walk you upstairs."

"No need. I'll go up by myself. Don't worry. Go back and rest early. Send me a message when you reach the hotel."

Theodore was touched by her

"Alright, you head up first. I'll leave once you've gone in."

Rosalie nodded, then stepped out of the car with Steve. She entered the building, and only after she disappeared inside did Theodore drive away.

"Justin, what are you doing here?" she exclaimed in surprise and delight.

Justin stood up. "Rose, you're back."

"Are you okay? Where have you been these past few days?"
