Skylar chose to disregard his initial statement but could not ignore the fact that he had actually

complimented her eyes and brows.

Feeling a twinge of jealousy, Skylar said, “Eyes, nose, mouth—these are the only standout features on

a person's face, and Saorise has nice eyes and nose. So, I guess she's the prettier one.”

Tobias remained noncommittal, acknowledging that Saorise's appearance did have an instant appeal.
