Hello, CEO! Don’t Play With Me!

“Anything else to bring?” asked Victor, the SEO driver who had been asked to pick them up at the Ford building. Not everything in Giselle’s room could be transported by suitcase or delivery service. The girl was very fussy about the gifts she received.

He said, “We must cherish the gift that I worked so hard to give. Don’t treat it carelessly. I don’t want to.”

Therefore, Justin asked for a driver and a slightly larger car so that all of Giselle’s belongings could be loaded properly.

“I don’t think there are any more,” Brina confirmed. She counted the number of boxes she had put in the trunk of the car, afraid she might have missed something. “Did you check the room? Nothing left behind?” she asked Giselle who was still engrossed in her cell phone. There seemed to be an exciting conversation going on there.

“Nothing,” the model replied lightly. She adjusted the sunglasses that adorned her face. “Come on, let’s go home.”

Brina sighed softly. Glancing at Nico to check in case any of the girl’s belongings were left behind. It was usually always in the toilet whether it was a set of makeup tools, a hair dryer, or a bathrobe. Giselle was one of those girls who rarely used the facilities the hotel provided during her temporary stay for work. She prefers to use her own.

“Alright,” Nico chuckled but seeing Giselle looking cheerful, he finally relented. Being acquainted and familiar with the girl made him realize, he had to expand his patience so much. Giselle only looked fierce and stern on her face, but in reality, she was… spoiled and troublesome.

“Let’s wait for Nico to return.” Brina quickly entered the car cabin where she took a seat next to Giselle.

“Are there any of his things left behind?”

Brina shook her head. leaving Giselle to her assumptions. “You better organize your seat. We’re going on a long journey. Traveling overland from Milan to Centralia is quite time-consuming. If you don’t mind having all your things shipped, we should be able to arrive by evening and rest in peace.”

Giselle spluttered. “It’s the least I can do to appreciate her gift.”

“Have you found out who the sender is?”

Giselle nodded immediately.

“Justin just laughed at everything in your room. I wonder who the person was who wasted time and money on this stuff.”

“You’re annoying.” Giselle folded her arms across her chest. “Why do I have to see you again?”

Brina laughed. “I’ve made a diet program and work out schedule for you. Don’t ever ignore it or I’ll drag you in by force. I’ve gotten permission from Justin to get you back to normal. I’d like to hit Andrew with this bag if I knew he was the one who seduced you with chocolate.”

“The chocolate is so tempting. I couldn’t bear to ignore it either. It was as if the jar was waving at me. Hi, Giselle. Come eat us. We’re delicious, you know.”

“Recklessly!” Brina intensified her laughter. “There is no such simile, Giselle. You’re too incoherent. Or is it too much chocolate that gives you hallucinations?”

The remark was greeted with an annoyed chuckle from Giselle.

“And this morning, what was your excuse for not having breakfast together? Justin was really worried about you.”

“I sent her a message, anyway. She replied back immediately and gave me permission anyway.”

Brina squinted suspiciously. “Who did you meet? The delivery boy?”

“I see.”

“Giving too much usually has a specific purpose. You must be careful, Giselle.”

“I know. I asked her that too. And he said he didn’t have any motive.”

Brina patted her forehead lightly. Let out a long sigh and looked at Giselle with a look of disbelief. “It’s true what Justin said, you only look mature. You’re still innocent and can be tricked.”

“It’s fine,” Giselle defended herself. “I know what is sincere and purposeful in a man.” She began to adjust the seat to make it more comfortable. The ride home this time was definitely much longer than if she had taken the plane. But no matter, the car was designed to allow her to relax and rest in it until she reached her destination; her apartment.

For one thing, she refused to buy Justin a plane ticket; he had gone to the trouble of sending a car and carrying all this stuff. She didn’t want to make Justin spend too much money even though Giselle’s accommodation was in the SEO budget.

There was also one thing she wanted to do; enjoy the ride while talking to Brina. Especially about Harvey and the man who suddenly caught her attention.

“I’m in a world where there are a lot of men with fake faces. There I met many sweet-mouthed men with lots of money. All I had to do was do whatever he wanted, and the money would fall into my lap. Not to mention all the ways they used to get me to accompany them, including lying to their partners. I know their behavior and even their conversations when they’re with me by heart.” Giselle chuckled remembering the past.

“And you feel that man is sincere?”

“I guess,” Giselle said softly. “But even if I’m sincere, I can’t turn away that easily. The back I want to enjoy is not hers.”

Brina sighed softly. She knew where Giselle was going with this. “It’s better to focus your energy on things that can be achieved. What you’re going through has a long end. Justin is counting on you to continue supporting SEO.”

“I know,” said Giselle. “I’ve also rejected his sincerity. So you can rest assured that I have my full concentration at Justin’s disposal.”

“What about your own heart? Can you really reject it?”Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Giselle looked at Brina with a puzzled look. “Why can’t I? I really don’t have any feelings for that guy at all. Although I admit he’s nice and yes… I admit he’s quite handsome. But all of that is not enough to make him in my heart. He’s just like an outsider I know. That’s all.”

“Just so long as it doesn’t become a problem in the future.”

“I know who to ask for help, right?” Giselle chuckled. She asked Victor to leave the hotel immediately. “What are we waiting for?”

“Nico,” Brina replied with a surprised shake of her head. “You forgot your own partner?”

As soon as she remembered the man who was present at last night’s event, she grinned. “I thought Nico was on the same flight as Justin.”

“There she is.” Brina quickly opened the car window, waving softly at the half-running Nico. In her hand was a small bag that Brina knew who it belonged to.

“It’s a good thing I came back,” Nico said with a chuckle and gave Giselle an exasperated look. “You’re too much. You can leave your make-up bag behind!”

Giselle gaped but then burst out laughing. “I forgot. I’m sorry.”

“I’m used to it!” said Brina and Nico simultaneously.

Soon, the car began to leave the lobby area of the Ford building. Giselle had met the other contestants at lunchtime. She also took the time to talk to Woddy, the organizer, as well as the other champions who were already preparing to go home and do their respective activities.

“I hope Justin can take care of Harvey soon.” Giselle muttered under her breath remembering her breakup with Harvey this afternoon. Honestly, she was a bit lost even though the communication had not been cut off since then. There was just something to talk about in the chat.

“I’m a little worried, Harvey and you are both troublesome.” Brina said in a lethargic tone while providing a blanket for Giselle. She also made sure that snacks and food were available in the storage box. She did not want Giselle to suddenly starve in the car.

“Let it be. You’ll be the one with the hassle. Justin and I won’t.”

“Giselle is indeed a sly girl,” Brina said with an exasperated chuckle. But for whatever reason, Brina was grateful that Giselle could have a friend who could keep up and be trusted. it wasn’t easy to get close to the girl who was now laughing because of what Brina had just said. at least, Giselle wasn’t alone in SEO.

As the owner wishes, SEO must have four main pillars. There are still two more to find, when and where to find them. Also most importantly… willing to join.
