Chapter 128 How Dare She

Cherry slowly stood up from her seat when she saw Sally walking towards her.

Sally walked up to her in a clearly vicious manner. She looked at Cherry, and with disdain in her voice,

said, "When did you become the secretary of the JS Group?"

Cherry ignored her words, and instead just stared at her. Eventually, she asked, "What are you doing

here?"

"That's none of your business, " replied Sally, coming closer to her.

Cherry kept her silence, and realized that Sally had come there just to make trouble.

Sally was a bit annoyed by Cherry's silence. She looked at her up and down, and in a defiant manner,

said, "I haven't seen you in five years, and yet you've changed so little. You're as attractive as you've

always been."

The irony in her words couldn't have been more obvious. Five years had passed, and indeed, Cherry

hadn't changed or aged a bit.

Cherry thought to herself, 'I was bullied by her five years ago, but now I won't let it happen again.'

All of sudden, Cherry put on a big smile on her face, and said, "Ms. Sally is also exceedingly beautiful.

Otherwise, how could you have been with Jackson for so long?"

Sally was puzzled by Cherry's words, and thought, 'Is she praising me or is she just being jealous?'

Sally's tone then suddenly became harsher. She stared at Cherry, and said, "Cherry, don't forget that

Jackson has been my man ever since childhood. Even if you're married with him, he's still mine."

Cherry seemed to be calm, and replied with a big grin on her face, "I've never said that he's mine or

yours, and I can't even begin to understand why you would even bother to say such a thing."

Sally was irritated by Cherry's words. She had come there to humiliate her, but instead she was being

dissed. What's more, she didn't even know how to fight back.

"Cherry!" cried Sally infuriated.

Cherry was not afraid of her at all, and instead leisurely said, "Ms. Sally, if you've come here to discuss

his affair with me, please leave at once. I have to work now, and my boss will soon return, not to

mention that it's really impolite for you to be here without an appointment."

"Impolite?" Sally was more and more furious by each passing moment. She thought, 'How dare she

speak to me like this?'

It was obvious that Sally was there to make trouble for her.

Cherry felt helpless, and tried to persuade her to leave. "Ms. Sally, please leave here at once. I have

work to do now, and I really don't have the time to discuss this kind of things with you right now."

After she said this, Cherry was just about to sit down at her desk and go on with her work, but she was

suddenly stopped by Sally.

She grabbed her arm, pulled her aside, and stopped her from sitting down on her chair. She glared at

Cherry, and hysterically cried, "What the hell are you doing here? Do you want to get back to

Jackson?"

Cherry looked straight into her eyes, and fearlessly said, "So what if I want to? I'm his legitimate wife by

law. What's your role in his life? You've been with him for five years, but now I think that the time for you

to leave has finally come."

Sally gnashed her teeth in rage, and said gloomily, "I knew that you came back to take him away from

me!"

Cherry didn't want to say a word to her anymore, because she couldn't find any purpose in the

conversation.

Sally suddenly said to Cherry, "How much money do you want? Just say how much, name your sum!

As long as you'll leave him, I'll give you any amount, no matter how much you want."

Cherry was shocked by Sally's absurd thought. What was happening? The mistress now wanted to pay

off the legitimate wife with money to quit her endeavors.

Cherry was irritated by her idea, and deliberately said, "I don't want money, I just want to be with him.

What's your problem with that?"

Cherry wasn't expecting Sally to act so hysterical.

Sally slapped Cherry across her face, and furiously said, "You shameless bitch!"

Cherry wasn't a coward anymore, and without any sort of hesitation, she replied to Sally the same way.

She glared at Sally, and thought to herself, 'This damn woman has really gone too far! Last time she hit

me at the party I didn't take my revenge on her, but now she has the nerve to hit me again? And at

work? Oh, she's asking for trouble.'

Sally hadn't expected that Cherry would hit her. She was totally shocked, and she covered her red and

swollen face and stared at Cherry.

At that moment, the elevator's door opened again, and Selina and Caroline walked out of it.

Selina was a bit surprised when she saw Sally in the office, and quickly realized that something was

wrong as soon as she saw Cherry and Sally's expressions.

Caroline saw that Cherry was quietly standing near her desk, while Sally was nearby with half of her

face covered by her palm. She wondered if they had fought with each other.

Selina then quickly walked up to Cherry and saw that half of her face was obviously red. She then

looked at Sally, and saw that she was holding her hand on half of her face. She immediately realized

what happened, and thought, 'Sally must have hit Cherry first and then Cherry hit her back.'

"What are you doing here?" asked Selina furiously, staring at Sally's face.

"I could only find the bitch here, now that she's working for you, " said Sally.

"Sally!" cried Selina harshly, "Are you crazy? How dare you make trouble here?"

When Sally saw that Selina was irritated, she kept silent, and didn't dare to say another single word to

her anymore. She had been slapped by her last time she had caused trouble for Cherry at the party,

and she was still a little afraid of her. When Selina was happy, she was just like a child, but when she

was angry, almost no one dared to challenge her.

Selina took out her cell phone and quickly dialed a number. The call was quickly connected, and she

said, "Ask the security guard at the main gate to come upstairs at once!" ordered Selina.

Caroline, who was standing next to Selina, also kept silent when she heard that Selina called security.

Cherry looked at Selina puzzled, and wondered what she was about to do next.

The two security guards then quickly came upstairs and walked up to Selina. Both of them greeted her

in a respectful manner, "Hello, Ms. Selina."

Selina glared at Sally. She turned to the two security guards, and harshly asked them, "Who let her in?"

The two security guards glanced at Sally and then lowered their heads. One of them said, "She is Mr.

Jackson's…"

But before he could finish his sentence, he was quickly interrupted by Selina.

"Mr. Jackson is not in the company now! Who permitted you to let her in?" said Selina sternly.

The two security guards were too frightened to say another word. Selina was obviously pissed off now,

and they knew that if they dared to challenge her and look for other kind of excuses, they were sure to

be fired at once.

"From now on, she's not allowed to step in the building any longer, " commanded Selina. She then

added, "Have you heard my words?"

The two security guards were pretty frightened, and hastily said, "Yes, Ms. Selina."

Selina was afraid that the security guards might not obey her orders, because almost everyone in the

company knew that Sally had a close relationship with Jackson. They were confused by her order and

didn't know exactly what they should do in the future.

"From this day on, even if she comes here together with Mr. Jackson, she's not allowed to step in. I'm

the person who has the final say in the company, " commanded Selina, with great authority in her tone.

The whole office area then fell silent. Nobody dared to say anything to Selina, and both Cherry and

Caroline were scared by Selina's sternness too. They had never expected that she would say such a

thing in Sally's presence, regardless of Sally's close relationship with Jackson.

Selina's words astonished Sally, and she couldn't believe that she was now forbidden from entering the

company, even if she was together with Jackson.

"Selina, are you crazy? You have no right to forbid me from entering the JS Group, " said Sally

furiously.

"Why should you even come here? What role do you play in the JS Group?" asked Selina impatiently.

She didn't care about her relationship with Sally, and she was sure that Jackson wouldn't be on Sally's

side either.

Sally looked into Selina's eyes and was a little scared, and she didn't dare to comment any longer. She

knew for a fact that Selina was protecting Cherry, and now that she was forbidden from entering the JS

Group, she had no chance to see Cherry anymore, let alone to hurt her.

A great deal of anger built in Sally's heart. She furiously thought to herself, 'How dare Cherry and

Selina oppose me? I won't let go of either of them, Cherry especially! Why is she still in Jackson's

heart? Why?'

When Selina saw that Sally still had no intention to leave, she ironically said, "Do you want to leave by

yourself? Or do you want me to find someone to escort you out by force?"

After she heard Selina, Sally thought to herself again, 'I'm in a weak position now, and have no chance

to win the battle today. There'll be a time when I'll teach Cherry the lesson that she deserves!'

Sally then glared at Cherry for a few moments, turned around, and left.

After Sally left, Selina's expression softened a bit. She then said to the security guards, "Have you

understood what I just said?"

While trembling, one of the securities said, "Ms. Selina, Mr. Jackson…"

"I will talk to him about it, " said Selina. She then waved off the two security guards, and asked them to

go back downstairs.

"Yes, madam!" said the security guards, and with these words, they also left.

Selina looked at Cherry, and concerned, asked, "Are you alright? Does it hurt?"

Cherry shook her head. She forced a smile, and said, "I'm okay."

But Selina's anger hadn't subsided completely yet, and as she walked to her office, she murmured,

"Jackson, I won't let you go off so easily."

After she saw Selina go into her office, Caroline hastily pulled Cherry over to her, and also concerned,

said, "Cherry, come here please, let me have a look at your face. Are you okay? Shall I get some ice

for your?"

Selina sat at her desk and dialed Jackson's phone number straightaway.

After the phone rang for a few times, the call was connected, but before Jackson could even say a

word, Selina shouted at him in a threatening manner, "Jackson, what the hell are you doing? Why can't

you handle your own affairs?"

Jackson was confused when he heard her, and wondered, 'What the hell is wrong with her. Is she

crazy?'

"Be more specific!" said Jackson fiercely.

Selina was startled by Jackson's ferocious voice, and immediately became less aggressive. She hastily

replied, "Sally was just here at the JS Group, and she hit Cherry. I've informed security that from this

day on she is forbidden from entering the company ever again."

When Jackson heard that Cherry had been hit, his mind went blank in an instant. He couldn't

understand anymore what Selina was saying to him, and immediately hung up on her.

Half an hour later, Jackson stopped his car with a screeching brake at the door of the JS building.

When the security guard saw Jackson's car, he hastily went over to him, took Jackson's keys, and

parked his car.

Jackson quickly walked to the elevators, took the CEO's, and went straight to the top floor.

As soon as he came out of the elevator, he saw Caroline put the wrapped ice on Cherry's face.
