Chapter 543 The Young Boy In The Hall (Part Two)

Chapter 543 The Young Boy In The Hall (Part Two)

When morning came, Carla was still sleeping soundly in the bed. But from out of the blue, she heard a

noise coming from outside her room that kept on waking her up.

Still feeling a bit lethargic, she heard a voice who was calling out to his sister. The voice sounded a bit

odd. It was that of a boy who was most probably going through puberty. His voice was deep and filled

with excitement.

After a while, Carla finally woke up. She got out of bed right away, frantically changed her clothes and

rushed toward the bedroom door.

When she flung the door open, she saw who kept on calling out to his sister. She was left so

dumfounded at that moment.

As it turned out, it was a boy in his school uniform who was knocking on the door. As he stood in the

hall, tears were dripping from his eyes and into his young, handsome face. He was rendered

speechless as he stared at Carla who just came out of her bedroom.

It was Sean. He was already about five feet, six inches tall, and he was only fifteen years old.

Compared to the last time they saw each other, he now had a darker complexion due to playing sports

outside. His eyes were dark, which made him look older beyond his years than boys his age.

When their eyes met, Carla's tears began to well up in her eyes.

Slowly, she walked toward him, seemingly in a bit of a daze. It had been four long years since the last

time these two met.

Back then, he was still a young boy who barely even reached her shoulder. Now, he had gotten much

taller and even more handsome.

"Sis..." he blurted out, with his voice sounding like it was about to break.

Hearing him call out to her made Carla cry much harder. She stretched out her trembling arms.

When he finally got a hold of himself, Sean ran into her arms and held her with all his strength. "Sis!

You're not dead! You are back! Thank the heavens you are back! You are finally back!"

Sean cried out in a husky voice as he held her shoulders and poured his heart out. NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

"Sis, I knew you were alive! I know! I was right! You're still alive!"

When they heard the news about her dead body getting retrieved, Terence didn't believe it one bit, and

the same went for Sean.

If Carla was really gone, Sean would certainly despise her parents for the rest of his life. He knew that

she went back to BH city back then to visit them.

He already had no one else left in this world. So there was no way he could ever accept Carla's death.

The past four years was probably the hardest time in his life. He was left in the darkness of hell and he

had been stuck in it for a long time.

In response, Carla hugged him back as hard as she could. "Sean, let me take a good look at you!"

As the tears still kept on rolling on her cheeks, she smiled at him and loosened her grip. She softly

touched his face. After four years, his face had prominent features now. In all honesty, he was the

spitting image of his father, but possibly even better looking.

He used to be such a cute little boy, but now he was already half a head taller than her.

Poor Sean had lost his parents when he was still in primary school. After that, he had been with Carla

for so many years. Living life might not have been easy, but, at least, they had each other to lean on.

Then, Carla got into an accident. So he had no choice but to stay with the Hua family for the next three

years.

No one could possibly understand how much he had already been through at such a young age.

"I'm so sorry, Sean! It's all my fault!"

Carla exclaimed as she blamed herself for everything that he had been through. First, he had to move

from BH City to JA City. And after that, he had to move to HA City. Whenever he moved from one city

to another, he had to readjust to the new environment, new school and new people. That was no easy

task for such a young boy, so he had to endure a lot of hardships.

"Sis, I'm okay! You're the one who suffered so much!" Sean took out a handkerchief and wiped her

tears dry. Then, he went on and added, "Sis, it's my turn to protect you now! I'm big enough!"

Hearing such a remark, Carla couldn't help but smile through the tears. Looking at him, she said, "Oh,

come on! You're still in junior high school. At least wait until you graduate from college."

"Sis, I am no longer a kid! I am about to enter senior high school in the next semester! I am aiming for

the best high school in JA City. If I manage to get into that school, I can finally be with you again!"

Sean stated. She sounded quite serious.

"I'm sure you can do it! I believe in you! I heard that you've actually been doing quite well in school. You

have no idea how proud I am of you!" Carla looked him straight in the eye as she cried. After all, she

couldn't be prouder as his sister.

It could be because of everything that they had been through that Sean made an effort to study hard.

Most boys in his age were going through a rebellious phase. However, Sean wasn't like that at all. One

could hardly see those traits in him.

All of a sudden, a voice came from behind. "Mommy! Who is he?"

Sally ran over toward her mother carrying a doll in her hands. With her gaze fixated on Sean, she felt a

bit curious and asked.
