you are intelligent people so your daughter must be born smart."
"Hahaha, that's right. All of us make some contribution." Abbot answered with a smile.
Shaking her head, Sophia couldn't help but tease, "All right, so I am successful all because of you? It's
none of my business, then?"
Everyone burst into laughter.
After a long chat, Drake still didn't come home. So, they asked Sophia, "Hasn't Drake called you?"
Sophia checked her phone but Drake hadn't even sent a message, let alone call her.
Judging by the time, Sophia thought he must be on the way home so she said to the others, "We
should probably wait. He may be on the way back."
Meanwhile, Drake was ready to go home when his car was stopped by someone.
That person appeared so suddenly that the driver had to brake hard, swinging Drake forward.
Drake knew the driver won't be so reckless and therefore he asked, "What's wrong?"
Before the driver could explain, that person ran quickly to Drake and knocked on the car window.
"My dear cousin-in-law." An annoying voice caused his aversion.
"Drive," Drake ordered and when the driver was about to set off that person suddenly clung to the car.
The driver was afraid of killing that person and therefore stopped.
Drake had no choice but to roll down the window but he didn't bother to cast a glance at that person,
only saying with a sullen face, "Cathy Lawson, if you want to get hit by the car and die, just say it. I will
be very glad to do you the favor."
Cathy gasped because she couldn't believe Drake would be so cruel. "Drake, I am not coming here to
kill myself. I want to talk to you."
"You'd better have something important to say. Otherwise, get out of my way!"
Cathy could easily feel his temper was getting worse but given that she stopped him, she would give it
a try nonetheless.
"Drake, I am here all because of my cousin. She really crossed the line. How could she patronize me
like that? It was Sophia who should be blamed. I can't bear it anymore and I have to tell you about it."

Drake interrupted Cathy before she could finish, "Cathy Lawson, mind your words. When did I ever
become so close to you?"
