Chapter 1215

Chapter 1215

William handed her a pouch of puree with a grin, "It's edible, grown-ups can have it too."

Mira's smile split her face, "Told you it was edible. It's been ages since I had any."

Nina rolled her eyes, "Is there anything you don't eat in this world?"

"Nope." Mira shook her head, "Us foodies aren't picky."

"Not picky, but you want to munch on everything you see," Nina retorted with a playful grimace. "You

even like baby food." Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Mira stuck out her tongue and unscrewed the cap of the puree, slurping it down with relish.

"It's so good, all tart and sweet."

"Greedy cat," Nina sighed, shaking her head in mock despair. "You're beyond help."

Nova looked at Mira, her smile revealing two adorable dimples.

"Mira, eat puree, eat puree."

"Yeah, I love puree too," Mira nodded.

Nina pinched her chubby cheeks, "Oh my, you've put on weight again. Your cheeks are getting

chunkier, you little chubster. I'm gonna have to tell Auntie Aurelia you're not sticking to your diet. You've

definitely been sneaking snacks."

Mira pouted, "No way, I've been skipping fried chicken, potato chips, and chocolate. I've been sticking

to the healthy stuff Auntie Aurelia said wouldn't make me gain weight."

Just then, Chirpy flew over and landed next to Nova.

"Nova, Nova, Nova."

Nova clapped her hands joyfully, "Chirpy, Chirpy!"

She offered her bag of fruit snacks to Chirpy to feed it.

William quickly waved his hands, "No, no, Chirpy can't have puree."

Chirpy strutted around the play mat like a queen.

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are." Chirpy sang with a delightful voice.

Everyone clapped.

"Chirpy sings so well."

"Chirpy is a queen, shining with confidence."

"Haha," Chirpy mimicked a human laugh, the queen indeed, shining bright.

Upstairs, Leopold got a call from his assistant.

Megan had been discharged from the psychiatric hospital. The Alcotts family had taken her home for

the holidays.

"Keep a close eye on her."

"Will do."

If the Alcott family didn't return Megan to the psychiatric hospital after the holidays, their family would

be in deep trouble.

Aurelia came over, and Leopold gently wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close.

"Rest up at home these next few days. Let me handle everything else."

She smiled, "I'm pregnant, not sick. And it's my second time. It's no big deal."

Aurelia overheard a bit about Megan on the phone.

"Is Megan still crazy?"

"She belongs in a madhouse for life. If she doesn't go back, the Alcott family might as well take her

place," Leopold said coldly.

Aurelia shrugged, "Sounds about right. That place suits her." Updated at Draмаnоvеls.cоm

After returning, Megan clung to Callie, sobbing.

"Mom, please, no more psychiatric hospital. I'm not mad. I can't stand that place anymore."

Callie cleaned her tears, "We don't want that either, honey. But it's either the psychiatric hospital or

prison for you."

Callie quickly covered her mouth, "Enough, stop talking. If the Stirling family hears this, you'll be sent

straight back."
