Desperate, Megan grabbed his hand, “Dad, where’s my baby? Did you find him?”
“Why bother finding a child whose father is unknown? Better to act as if you never had this baby,” John
coldly advised.
“But it’s Leopold’s! Why won’t any of you believe me? Once we find the child and run a DNA test, we’ll
know for sure,” Megan countered.
“Enough. Spend the holidays quietly at home. Don’t stir up any more trouble. Otherwise, it’s straight
back to the mental health facility,” John warned.
Megan was determined not to return to that psychiatric hospital. She’d rather die.
She needed a plan to escape and get away from Elysium.

Skyler played with the kids in the backyard, lifting William onto his shoulders, and pretending to soar
through the skies.
“We’re flying, William!” he shouted.
“Yay, flying!” William giggled with joy.

Nina pinched Mira’s cheek, “You’re too heavy, Skyler can’t lift you.”
