Chapter 411 Ziana Remembered Everything;

“No!”

Sean, who was following closely behind, witnessed the car hurtling down the hill with his own eyes.

Darlene was still inside that vehicle!

He urgently yelled for the driver to stop, but even before the car came to a complete halt, he had already leaped out.

He ran forward like a madman, and even before he could draw near, he heard a deafening sound all aronid!

The pitch black night instantly became as bright as day, illuminated by a blaze of fire. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

The scorching wave of heat generated by the burning wreckage of the car reached them, despite the considerable distance, leaving them singed by its intensity.

Sean froze, murmuring, “Darlene… No… Don’t….

“No! It can’t be!” He jolted awake, shouting hoarsely, “Darlene!”

Just then, police sirens blared behind them.

“Oh no! The police are here!

“Mr. Yates! We need to go! The police are here!

“Hurry, let’s go!”

Sean got up from the ground, glanced down the hill, and without looking back, drove away.

Less than ten minutes after they left, the police cars arrived, accompanied by a large crowd.

Nell opened the car door and stepped out, seeing thick smoke billowing from the hillside, immediately sensing something was amiss.

He approached, taking a deep breath.

At that moment, Yudel also approached and asked in a grave tone, “What’s going on?”

Nell anxiously replied, “It appears Mr. Lewis’ car plunged down the hill. I’ll go check the situation!”

Yudel waved his hand and was accompanied by Donald and his security guards. They followed Nell’s team as they descended the slope in search of survivors.

However, the situation at the bottom of the hill was even worse than they had imagined.

The spot where the car crashed was engulfed in a raging inferno, even scorching the surrounding trees.

After extinguishing the fire and conducting a thorough search, they found a charred body inside the car.

From the height of the body, it appeared to be that of a woman.

After the police were briefed on the situation, they asked Yudel, “Mr. Scott, would you like to confirm if it’s…”

“No.” Yudel interrupted, resolute. “It can’t be her.”

Boris was with her, and he would never let anything happen to her!

Nell interjected, “Mr. Lewis brought Darlene with him today, so the body could possibly be Darlene’s.”

As expected, there should have been three people in the car, but now two were missing.

Yudel instructed. “Search within a three-mile radius, and find Miss Scott and Mr. Lewis!”

With two teams cooperating with the police, they quickly sprang into action.

For a while, flashlights flickered all over the mountainside, accompanied by repeated shouts.

“Miss Scott!”

“Mr. Lewis? Where are you?”

“Miss Scott! Miss Scott!”

In a state of confusion, Ziana seemed to hear her name being called.

She felt aching all over her body. Even her breath became intensely painful. She longed to move but found herself immobilized, and despite her efforts, she couldn’t manage to open her eyes.

Yet, despite not being able to open her eyes, scenes seemed to materialize before her.

She witnessed Boris and her being taken away by a young boy with a gun.

She witnessed them being locked inside a cramped, dark shipping container and saw Boris silently eating garbage amidst the raucous laughter of a group of people.

She witnessed, on the torrential rainy day, Boris’ beautiful eye mercilessly gouged out and him collapsing into a pool of blood as if life had been drained from him….

“No…”

Her head throbbed, causing her body to convulse in pain. Just then, a gentle voice echoed in her mind.

“Babe, the car is about to crash…

“Don’t be afraid. Hold on to me…

“We’ll jump off the car. Trust me. Nothing will happen to you!”
