Chapter 895 A Pleasant Surprise!

The following day, Kingsley woke up early and promptly attended to the affairs of Coliree Island, then deliberately set aside time to meet Yulia. At dinner time, Kingsley drove to Kingston Apartments according to the address Yulia had sent him the previous day.

She was already waiting downstairs, looking expectant and nervous while dressed in a short- sleeved crop top and a pair of shorts. It appeared simple and casual, yet it perfectly complemented her attractive figure. With her slim waist, curvy figure, and long legs, she caught the attention of everyone around her. Not only did men find it hard to resist staring at her, but passing women couldn't take their eyes off her either. She was like a sparkling diamond in that she was always the most eye-catching among the crowd.

Kingsley spotted her immediately.

"Miss Ansley." He rolled down the car window and smiled. "Please get in the car."

All the men around them looked envious as she smiled charmingly and gracefully got into the car on her long legs. Kingsley paid no attention to their envious and jealous looks, silently observing Yulia for a moment before smiling. "Miss Ansley, it's been a while."

He intended to reveal his identity to her today, but he didn't want to say it directly as soon as they met because he wanted to surprise Yulia. Instead, he had decided to wait until they were having dinner later to gradually lead her into discovering his true identity.

Just the thought of her gradually becoming suspicious and realizing that he was her long-lost brother made his lips unconsciously curve up into a smile. He believed that the effect would be much more interesting than directly revealing his identity. She would never forget this reunion!

He always showed his most genuine self with his sisters; that was also why Reene and the others always said he was talkative. If she knew his plan at this moment, she would definitely laugh and

call him mischievous.

Seeing him staring at her, Yulia blushed and touched her cheek. "W-What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"

"No." Kingsley grinned. "You just look incredibly beautiful today."

He didn't mean anything else by saying this, as complimenting her was just a habit. Back in their welfare home, she would insist on him praising her beauty every time she received snacks, and only when she couldn't stop laughing would she share the snacks with him.

However, she didn't know that Kingsley was her own brother and had long had a secret crush on him. Upon hearing Kingsley complimenting her beauty, she felt shy and happy, tiny beads of sweat forming on the tip of her nose.

"Um... You saved me twice, but I still don't know your name," whispered Yulia. "How should I address you?"

"My last name is Nicholson, but I'll tell you my first name later," replied Kingsley. "Just call me Nichol for now."

"Nichol..." She covered her mouth and giggled. "That nickname seems a bit too simple."

He chuckled. "It's okay. It's just a temporary one."

"You'll find out soon." With that, Kingsley turned on the navigation system. "Miss Ansley, where do you plan to take me for dinner? I haven't eaten since noon in anticipation of this meal, and I'm starving now."

Upon hearing this, Yulia quickly suggested, "I know a Western restaurant nearby, and I heard that the head chef has a Michelin star. Let's go there."

"A Western restaurant..." Kingsley looked at Yulia. "That place must be expensive, right? I don't want you to spend too much. Let's just find any restaurant."

In fact, Yulia was also secretly conflicted.
