Chapter 91: Road Forward
The two sat in the carriage, it seemed to become regular or normal for the two.
They've been riding in the carriage for a day since leaving the territory of Azeron.
They knew it would take another day or so just to get to Latis' palace.
They occupied their time by talking or just resting.
Even early today as the morning had reached noon the two still slept soundly.
Huddled together like two peas in a box-shaped pod, having large amounts of space but not daring to
separate.
The shades over the windows were closed, but once they opened by Leon's or Luna's hands the day
began.
So now after that morning should I say noon wake up call, the two sat together waiting to their journey
to their destination to grow to a close.
-Luna's POV-
The ride, the slow rocking of the carriage seemed to be very calming for the two of us.
This sense of bliss with the already boring day makes us quite tired.
Even now I sat watching the passing landscape as Leon rested on my shoulder.
His horn taped my ear, the bone like piece was cold, though the face of my future husband on my
shoulder was as usual, warm.
We held hands and continued for the day.
I couldn't look away, the landscape changed so much and varied as much from the usual view that I've
grown accustomed too.
The beauty of the woodland forests and streams that went by was quite breathtaking.
I grew up in an area of land that was mostly farmland, plains, and hill filled valleys.
The only break from the grassy fields were other people's homes and the lone trees that were
scattered about in odd places.
Though I didn't take in much scenery back then, it was hard to when getting beaten and held inside all
day.
That was what was preoccupying my time.
The only real glimpse of that peaceful landscape was when I was being taken away.
Roughly staring at my past life through rusted metal bars.
It was quite hard to realize, to take in the fact that all this untamed beauty and all that plain farmland
were held in the same county, the continent as I should say.
Though I know what region I'm from, I'm not entirely sure of what country.
It's not like I was brought up to date or told where, and since my life has utterly been cut off from that
past, what's the point in even knowing.
My new life with Leon and the others takes my attention away from that past, and makes me hope for a
new future.
I can now really experience the beauty of this world.
Though for me, it's still hard to see such flat golden fields and such green mountainous lands diverge NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
and interlock.
I've heard rumors about the Demon Continent about how the land varies from desert, to frozen, and
other regions filled with luscious growths of life.
Maybe the human continent was the same.
Though I would hope that most of the continent had green spread about its lands, instead of harsh
unforgiving wastes.
It feels weirds to leave the place I called home for a few months.
Though I have Leon by my side to ease the fears.
"The view is quite lovely isn't it?.."
I spoke to her as she stared out the window.
Though she probably would have thought I was talking explicitly about the changing landscape.
Though that wasn't it at all, the real view I was gazing at was her.
The light refracting through the window shined on and almost through her turned red cheek.
She fluttered her eyes nodding to my remark.
I could see trace amounts of dust being pushed all about the air around those eyes.
My sight, from her shoulder, almost made my eyes capture her in a glowing state of stardust.
I couldn't take my eyes away, such a lovely view was meant to be captured.
I felt lucky to witness such a sight.
