He sternly shouted and struck out with his palm, causing a figure to burst forth from the room and engage in a brief clash with him.

After the clash, Ye Qingtian's acquaintance, Gaius, recognized him and burst into laughter. They struck up a friendly conversation, with Gaius explaining that they were all on the same side. Gaius mentioned that he was guarding someone in seclusion, which surprised Ye Qingtian.
