Chapter 588 A Sandwich Prank

“I fancy no food.” Daniel then dropped the box casually on the front step.

He entered the house and saw Chloe playing with Chandler. At this moment, his deadly cold heart

seemed to be revived again.

“Chandler.”

Chandler raised his head. He jumped up with his eyes wide open as soon as he captured Daniel within

his sight. He rushed over, “Daddy!”

“It tastes bad?” Daniel looked at this seemingly yummy food. He still took a big bite, “But my son made

it…”

However, he got choked and kept coughing the next second.

He took away the slice of bread on the top and saw it fully covered with wasabi.

Chloe spread out his hands and smiled quizzically, “I have warned you. But you insisted.”

“Why did you get so much wasabi on it?” Daniel slapped him gently at the back of his head, “I have just

woken. You want me to stay in the hospital again?”

Chandler smiled awkwardly while holding the back of his head, “I just wanted a little on it. Nor did I

expect to squeeze so much out of it. And dad, you know how much wasabi costs. I don’t want to waste

it. But I am sure you can have it all. Am I right about that, dad?”

Looking at his smiling face, Daniel found it hard to fail him.

Though it tasted poignant. He still finished this little sandwich with a few bites.

“Mr. Daniel, you are such a nice dad!” Coffey came over with a glass of water. He handed it to Daniel

and said, “Did Mr. Smith know that you have been back?”

Daniel replied, “I told him on my way. He will be here soon. But…”

He ran his eyes all over Coffey and frowned, “Who are you? A new bodyguard hired by Chloe?”

“He is not a bodyguard! He is my boyfriend!” Chloe walked over to hold Coffey’s arm.

“Are you kidding?” Daniel looked at Coffey again. He put on a wry smile, “I look even younger than him.

And I do remember your boyfriend’s name should be Coffey, right?”

Before Daniel headed to Country XL, he heard from Chloe that she was dating Lily’s brother.

“I don’t even know where he has been? So I break up with him myself.” Chloe spread out her hand and

mumbled, “Age has never been a must for a relationship. Come on, just be more generous about my

boyfriend.”

When both Louis and Leigh took a seat, Daniel told them that Justin had planned for a new treatment

to cure Stella. And Daniel returned first as he had recovered.

Daniel finished a glass of water and beckoned Chandler to refill it.

Then he said, “I went back to my family and my father has signed those papers. Louis, you need to

take charge of our base in New York and arrange a recruitment again. Perhaps I will be too busy to

take care of it from now on.”

“Daniel, but still thanks to your power in the army. Now we can get things done much easier.” Said

Leigh, Then he added, “I am also busy with my own company. I am afraid I can’t base myself in New

While the others were all amused when hearing that. The atmosphere seemed to be lit up with joy.

“Uncle Louis, Uncle Leigh, just try some sandwiches.” Chandler handed them two sandwiches with a

cute smile, “I made them by myself! You are so lucky today!”

Leigh pinched his lovely face and said, “What makes you so polite today? You don’t even say Hi to me

on usual days.”

“I did when I met you every time!” Said Chandler with his head tilted. Then he stuffed the sandwich

onto his hand and said, “I made it myself! Uncle Leigh, I know you will love it.”

Daniel didn’t intend to reveal his prank. He coughed to reminded, “Chloe, take him back to his room

and do some games with him.”

“No, he doesn’t even want to. I also want to hear your conservation!”

Coffey patted on her back and whispered, “Just go. Let us hang out tonight.”

Not until then did Chloe take Chandler back to the room with reluctance.

Soon, quarrel and smash sounded from the room in less than ten seconds after they entered.

Daniel still wore a poker face while raising up his jaw, “Have some sandwich.”

“What’s so special about the sandwich?” Leigh muttered and then took a big bite. As a result, his face

went twisted because of the wasabi.

He hurried to reach a trash basket beside.

But Louis kicked the basket away.

Seeing that, Leigh stared at Louis with his eyes filled with confusion.

“My son made those for you. Eat them all.” Daniel put a glass of water in front of Leigh. He cracked his

knuckles while saying, making Leigh struggle to swallow it with fear.

Then Leigh reached out to gulp down the glass of water. Not until then did he feel better in his mouth,

“Damn! Daniel, you play dirty!”

Daniel’s smile then faded away as he was about to get down to business, “Justin has told me

everything happening recently in this city. I have told my man to search those islands according to the

information you provided. I will let you know as soon as I get something.”

Hearing that, Louis seemed to be a bit doleful. But he still nodded, “Thank you, Daniel.”
