A Life Debt Repaid By Cheng Xiaocheng Chapter 69
Chapter 69
It took Randy a long while to finish feeding John, and he basically fled the room.
Still, he did not forget to kindly lock the door behind him.
Cordy glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 10 PM-she should be heading home.
But just as she was about to speak, John suddenly said, “Please wipe my body.”
As she turned toward him, he continued, “The doctors told me that I should not bathe.”
She certainly knew that-but was it appropriate for her to do it?!
“I’m not used to being touched by other men,” John explained then, and Cordy quickly remembered that all the rehab staff were men too.
“I don’t think I can sleep feeling dirty,” John said. “Please.”
Cordy took a deep breath right then.
It was always good manners to repay a favor, and she owed John more than a favor this time.
Thus, she headed to the bathroom, filled a bucket with warm water, and soaked a towel before returning to him.
“Close your eyes,” Cordy said. “I’ll start with your face.”
John did as he was told, and all he felt was the warm, soft touch of the towel gently brushing over his face. NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.
Squeezing the towel, Cordy then moved to his neck and collarbone. “Should I keep going?” “Yes.”
Cordy put down the towel, and braced herself as she unbuttoned John’s patient garb, baring his muscular chest.
It was not as if she was unfamiliar with men-or shirtless men.
In fact, she was used to it since she occasionally supervised photoshoot sessions of part-time male models, which naturally involved shirtlessness.
And yet, she was blushing as she observed the perfect, alluring muscular curves on John’s chest and abdomen.
Even from behind the towel, she could feel that they were firm yet bouncy.
Still, she carefully wiped him down, even moving on to her limbs.
She was hyperventilating when she was done, unsure if she was tired or… feeling something else. However, just as she carried the bucket and was about to leave, John told her, “You missed a spot.
Cordy flinched a little, her fingers starting to clench unwittingly.
Give him an inch, and he would demand a mile!
“I’ll do it myself,” John added then, but Cordy was gritting her teeth.
No matter how she thought about it, he was doing it on purpose!
“I’ll get you clean water,” she said before heading to the washroom to fill the bucket with clean water and taking another towel.
John naturally noticed, and he appeared cheerful as he took the towel from her.
Cordy averted her eyes, and after a long while, he said, “Done.”
Cordy turned to him, but she told him to put the towel in the bucket instead of taking it off his hands.
With that, she returned to the washroom and dumped the towel into the bin.
When it was all done, she said, “I’m going now.”
“Are you coming tomorrow?” John asked.
Cordy was silent-there was a lot of work to do at Starstream Group.
“It’s alright, you don’t have to come if you’re busy. I just have to stay here alone, feeling lonely and isolated. No one would be here to distract me, and it just hurts a little where I was hit… it’s nothing.
Cordy was speechless.
How much more cunning could he be?!
