A Love Reawakened The Alpha’s Regret

Chapter 204

BOOK 2 CHAPTER 74

Reina's POV

Three days into planning, we finally decided to pay a 'nice' visit like my dad says to the Red-Eyes pack. Rowan, Mika, and I would be meeting my dad in the next few hours, just at the crack of dawn. The thought of going back to that place was depressing for me.

"You should sleep for a few hours," Rowan had told me. Til wake you up." He promised

He had been extremely busy, trying to sort things out for the day. Since he didn't want others to know about our Plan, he planned to put Gideon in charge of the pack before we left, and to do that, he wanted to sort out some things so the impromptu transition would be easy for Gideon

No one was to be trusted, Rowan had said. With the recent happenings, it was obvious that there was a mole in the pack and Rowan didn't trust anyone.

As I closed my weary eyes, hoping I wouldn't Dreamwalk tonight, something pulled me out of my slumber.

Suddenly, I was in Rowan's office and it was daylight. I looked at the desk calendar and realized it was the day after the day we were supposed to leave the pack.

“What am I supposed to do now?" I hear Gideon asking someone on the phone.

The person said something that made him pause..

"Zack! Listen, we're not doing this. This wasn't even in the plan. You can't expect me to start killing all these people by myself. I haven't even pulled enough people to dur side to help me. If I start attacking randomly, bad things will happen. I've done everything you've asked me. I've messed with the CCTV, I've killed that innocent boy, I've kept you up to date. Fine, send in your men, let them do what they want, I'll allow them through the gates,"

My heart pounded in my chest as I listened to every word Gideon said. Fear crept into my mind as a cold shiver traveled down my spine. Suddenly, I heard a click and the scenery changed. This time I was in the middle of bodies, lots of dead bodies. As I looked ahead, I saw Rowan, Mika and I running into the pack. Alexander was on the floor, withering in pain but he was alive.

"Bloody vampires," he hissed. Right underneath his arms was Gideon's head.

"Reina," Someone touched my shoulder and I gasped. My eyes fluttered open and Rowan was right on top of me, staring at me with worry in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I had a nightmare," I swallowed hard as I suddenly realized my throat was dry. Rowan looked dressed and as I looked out of the window, I realized it was dawn already.

"Are we leaving now?" I asked him.

I was about to wake you up

up but I realized you

were stiff, Too stiff!

I stood up from the bed and opened the window, allowing some fresh breeze into the air.

"Visions aren't to be trusted. According to what my uncle said, sometimes, they can be true and other times, they're to be ignored because sometimes when you try to avoid them, you end up even in more grave situations, I explained even though it sounded confusing

"You saw something, didn't you?" he suddenly asked him

Gideon was a big part of the pack and I found it hard to believe that he had no good intentions.

"If we leave and you put Gideon in charge, people will die, I told him.

"So, are you saying we shouldn't leave?" He asked.

I shook my head. Then, I took a seat beside Rowan on the bed and gave him a vivid description of what I saw. I held Rowan's hand as I talked and I didn't miss the death look on his face.

I've been in this pack for a while, so why was I getting this vision of Gideon now? Was destiny really trying to say it was on our side!

"F*ck" Rowan spot.

He suddenly stood up from the bed. "Get dressed, baby,"

He walked out of the house.

I quickly took a shower, got prepared, and also left the house. As I got closer to the Alpha's Building, I saw some warriors taking Gideon away. Our eyes met and he looked away.

Rowan was busy talking to Alexander,

"I'll ask some of my enforcer men to join me while 1 oversee the affairs of the pack in the meantime if that'll be okay by you."

I heard Alexander saying.

"I know you hate rogues but also remember that if you touch them without justifiable reasons, I'll be forced to retaliate."

Rowan threatened.

"I'm only helping out, I won't step out of order,"

"Good!"

"I can't believe Gideon is helping the vampire, Mika said. To say she looked shocked was an understatement. You could see it in her demeanor that she was in denial.

"I always knew something about the boy was strange, Alexander piqued. Mika turned to glare at him.

"Yeah, right, Mika answered.

"It wasn't just about you guys f*cking." Wait what!

"It was something in his scent that got to me. The last time I perceived something like that, it was a vampire, masking as a

woll.

I turned to see Rowan staring at me. I raised an eyebrow and he shrugged.

"What if my vision was wrong?" I asked him as we walked towards the car we would be leaving in.

He looked at me and smiled. "That's the only reason why I have killed Gideon yet. I told Xander to look into it since the main reason he came here was because of the vampire,"

"Don't worry.

his blood won't be on our hands, it'll be on Alex, Rowan assured me as though that was the right thing to say.

I HEARD THAT, Alexander yelled from behind us. Rowan ignored him as he opened the car's door for me to enter.

Rowan drove us away from the pack. I turned to stare at the gate as we left the pack behind. I hope we meet them the same way we left them.

As agreed, we were to meet my dad just a few distance from the Red-Eyes pack. We would meet up and leave together immediately before anyone noticed we were there.

"There they are, Rowan commented before he stopped the car.

I walked out of the car and hurriedly walked towards Ella. She was also waiting for me with a smile. She hugged me back tightly.

"I've missed you, we both chorused sadly.

I went to my dad next.

"Hi, dad.

"Hi, love," he hugged me.

"Let me introduce everyone," my dad said. That was when I noticed he was there with three other men.

"This is Alpha Rowan and his second in command, Mika and this is my daughter, Reina,"

"The resemblance is uncanny. I hope the attitude isn't," The man with him

commented and I saw my dad frowning

"Yeah, I regret bringing you along, Ryker. Thanks for the constant reminder,"

"How are you supposed to do this alone in the first place?"

My dad grumbled and I was suddenly interested in their history This is Alpha Reign and of course, Ryker, the person I hate the most in the world, and his second in command, Jamil,"

I shook hands with them as well as Rowan and Mika. As Rowan took Ryker's hand, he said, "Good to finally meet you, Alpha Ryker,"This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

"Call me Alpha

Ryker one more time, boy, and I'll tear your mouth open. I'm King Ryker and that's for everyone to know,"

My father scoffed.

"They call you a king but I'm called a god. I'm guessing there are ranking to this rogue thing and wayyyy above you, is me. So, let's try to act civil and

as adults. Do whatever we're here to do and go back to our territories," Rowan spat in one breath.

I could see King Ryker's jaw clenching and it was obvious that he was mad

"Fine. Let's beat up some shitty wolves and get this over with,"
