I am someone who doesn’t love attending parties except when it will be beneficial to me.

That is why I decided to attend the Engagement party of Mr. AJ’s daughter so I can discuss my interest in investing in his wine company.

Being the Ceo of Goldman group of companies,

I hardly attend parties even though I receive invitation from many companies to attend their parties be it private parties or company related parties because my dad won’t keep nagging me to attend any of the mating parties and find myself a mate or still find any beautiful girl so I will be able to forget about the past.

When I refused, my Dad used any opportunity he got to make my life uncomfortable for me. That is why I will always live the mansion to the club.

Because there I will have a little peace of mind.

And thank God. Am now married if not my dad would have been doing same thing again.

It was 4 pm when my phone started ringing and when I check the caller id it was my PA calling and I picked the call

Yes, what do you want this time around? I asked him

Hope you are prepared because it is already 4 pm. He said

There is no need for me to over-dress just to go attend a little girl’s engagement party.

Am sure there will be so many men there who will be entertaining her with their flirtful words while I will be using that time to discuss with her parents about my investment.

Today, I won’t attend that party without Tiara because I don’t want to bore her with company problems.

So I will attend alone and by the way she is even pregnant so that will stress my baby too.

I took my phone and my car key and walked downstairs we’re I met both my wife and my dad discussing.

These two if not that I know them I would have thought my Dad loved my wife but I know they just have but the father and daughter born which they never experience.

Tiara, I will be going to a business party right now. I will see you soon. I said to Tiara.

I am outside Mr. AJ mansion. He answered

Wait for me I will be there in a bit. I said and ended the call.

After I ended the call I drove the car to Mr. AJ mansion.

When he got there the security guard opened the gate and he drove his car inside and packed it at the packing lounge where there were several cars of all types of expensive mark present there.

I got down from the car and I was about to go search for my PA.

when I saw his figure standing beside the door of the mansion. He walked to me.

Thank God you are here. I thought grass would grow on my legs before you came here. He said nonchalantly.

Your wife is at home. You can go there so she can be romantic with you. I said and walked inside the mansion.

After he heard what I said he left the place in search of Mr. AJ

Due to the excess population of people in the house it was very difficult for them to find Mr. AJ

After what Mr. AJ said we both walked to the direction of his study room only for us to be stopped at the entrance of his study room by his wife.

Just as I was about to enter the study I saw a familiar face from afar and that face looked like someone I don’t want to see again in my life.

I was about to go back to the sitting room to find the person when I heard my name.

Then I recalled that I have some important business with Mr. AJ so I went inside the study room.

Just as I imagine Mr. AJ accepted my proposal and he agreed to go through my file and he will then fix a date so the contract could be signed.

That is an additional bag for me. We later went out of his study to go join the others.

The moment I got to the party room I was stopped by my PA’s voice.

I have been looking for you ever since and I even called your number but it was not available.

I said to myself as I continued going round the party room in search of the person. But I was stopped by Mr. AJ.

She is with her fiance but her mother will be bringing her soon.

Just after Mr AJ spoke I could see the woman Mr. AJ introduced to me a few moments ago as his wife walking towards us with a younger version of herself and I am sure she is the lady that got engaged today. And I won’t lie, the lady was very beautiful.

Mr. Goldman, I would love to introduce you to my daughter Cindy. He said

I said and gave her the bag which she happily collected and opened her own gift.

It was two Rolex watch which was inside and she was so excited.
