Jace felt complicated looking at his mum’s back and the brooch in the box. “Mother knows best they say,” Grandpa said to Jace with a sigh, “The whole family is working hard for you to get your wife back. You idiot, you better not disappoint us again.”
In the meantime, Yoel was chased out of Sage’s office. It started pouring rain, and the raindrops dripped on Yoel’s face. He wiped them off and sighed. It looks like Project Ovaries should be done for now. He was left with no choice but to betray his best friend Jace.
