A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 312

Chapter 312

Chapter 312 Jim saw Sage’s face, and he asked what had happened. He could sense that it was related to his brother. Sage told him not to bother with it and ordered him to watch Dean closely. She then went off to the production house with Hillary and Hunter. Jim felt helpless as he could not be of any help when something serious had happened.

He was still a child in Sage’s eyes.

Sage got hold of the truth behind Dean’s fall after investigations done by Hunter and Hillary. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Dean was in the midst of filming a movie titled ‘Ocean Deluna’ directed by Lincoln, the talented director. It was a combination of multiple genres, including action, royalty, suspense, and romance.

It was set in the Renaissance era when King Adam succeeded the throne, and both of his uncles, Federico and Geoffry, plotted to supersede his throne. Federico instructed his adopted son, Erik, to join the Royal Guards and eventually kill the king as one of his first guards. The crew chose Ark Mountains to shoot the guards-in-training scenes. Dean took the role of Erik, the adopted son of Federico and the head of guards. It was the biggest role he landed since he entered the entertainment industry.

‘Ocean Deluna’ was also the first movie Lincoln directed ever since he retired, and Norastar Entertainment was one of the main investors.

Sage tried to slot in as many Norastar Entertainment artists as possible to participate in the movie. Dean had just joined Norastar Entertainment, and she wanted him to act in a smaller role like Johann, the younger brother of Erik. It suited Dean more, plus it was a likable character.

Lincoln believed that Dean was unsuitable for the role. After three rounds of auditions, Lincoln decided to give Erik’s part to Dean, and the original actor for Erik’s part, Jaxon, had to settle for the smaller role,

Johann.

That was when the problem occurred. It was not unusual for actors to switch roles as the director saw fit. The main character, King Adam, was changed a few times. Finally, the part was awarded to Keith Mannings, an award-winning actor just like Seth.

Jaxon was greatly displeased with his role switch. He “accidentally pushed” Dean down the hill in an acting scene.

It was not uncommon for accidents to happen, but Jaxon-a professional martial arts practitioner – should have known better. It was not evident on the surveillance camera, and the incident was arranged by one of the producers.

No one dared to say a thing. The crew had previously seen many catfights, and they refused to bring it up to avoid any trouble,

The shoot had to continue despite Dean being hospitalized. If Dean’s injuries could not heal in time, his role would be filled in by someone else,

The crew was filming a night scene when Sage and the others rushed over. Jaxon acted as Johann, and he was acting in an important scene for his role with the antagonist, Federico.

They had artificial rain pouring on the mountains, and time was of the essence for the crew. Sage, the executive producer, stood at the corner so she would not interrupt their work. “Cut!” Lincoln sat behind the monitor, and his brows furrowed with a solemn expression on his face.

He yelled with a speaker, “Johann, you’re seeking justice for your senior. You’re not coming here to die. You don’t need to look so tragic!”
