A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 836

Chapter 836

Chapter 836 Everyone looked at Sage and fell silent. The so–called kidnapping incident was always all their trauma, including Sage. It pained them thinking about it.

Sawyer rubbed Sage‘s head and said gently, “My darling, things don‘t just fade if you stop thinking about it. Sometimes the best way to beat your fear is to face it. Isn‘t that the reason you filmed the movie? Don‘t be afraid now, we‘re all here for you.”

Sage looked up and smiled lightly.

It was not fear, having to tear open an old wound and show it to everyone was a completely different feeling,

There was no such thing as being able to sympathize with someone completely, she was aware that the only people that would truly be affected when she showed everyone her experience were herself and her family. Everyone else was just there to watch. She never wanted their sympathy anyway, all she ever wanted was to tell her truth. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Sage did not hold a press conference, she ended up with just an interview.

There were plenty of media and journalists that wanted to interview Sage, but she never agreed to any of them, that was her first time.

The person who sent out the interview invitation was a well–known TV host, Samantha Holland.

Samantha was always an approachable host that had a lot of empathy and depth when it came to hosting. She was elegant, intellectual, and honest, she had her ways of apprehending her interviewees‘ inner thoughts. She interviewed many local talents from different fields, and always managed to reflect the interviewees‘ charm and values.

Sawyer, Rowan, and Seth were interviewed by Samantha before.

The most memorable interview for Sage was when she interviewed Jace from years ago, Sage watched that interview more than three times.

Jace returned from the military and was given the title of Yuriel‘s heir. He wore a suit for the interview but still emitted vital militant energy, he sat upright during the whole interview as he listened and answered the interviewer‘s questions like a student in class, it was adorable.

The interview venue was at Tasty Restaurant, while she waited for the team to arrive, she rewatched Jace‘s interview.

The makeup artist did Sage‘s makeup when Sage burst out laughing from watching Jace‘s adorable expressions in the interview video.

She almost forgot that Jace was once so naive.

The whole interview process was pleasant, Samantha was very professional and did her homework before the interview. Throughout the whole interview, she never once mentioned anything about the photos online, she wholly focused on Sage‘s work and hobby, as well as her childhood and personal experiences. Samantha managed to excavate Sage‘s thoughts through carefully curated questions, Sage was so immersed that she felt like she could not get enough of it even after the interview ended. It felt like she just went through a therapeutic session or a much–needed catch–up session with an old friend. During the interview, Sage even cooked a few dishes at Samantha‘s request.

“I heard that you‘re the Damians‘ direct disciple and that you‘re a talented cook yourself.” Sage turned and asked, “Who did you hear that from?” Samantha smiled and said, “Old Dried Fish.” Sage understood who she referred to immediately. After the interview ended, Sage asked, “Miss Holland, did Jace ask you to interview me?” Samantha closed her notebook and looked behind Sage as she smiled, “He‘s here, you should ask him.”

Sage was stunned and turned around to find Jace standing by the door, smiling at her with a cup of frappe in his hand.
