Ranita quickly got out of bed, gently opened the balcony door, and peeked outside. Her phone rang unexpectedly.

Startled, Ranita answered quickly, “What are you doing?”

Her voice was soft, with a hint of coquettishness.

On this restless summer night, it felt like a cool breeze had blown into Brendon’s heart. He raised an eyebrow, his gaze crossing the darkness and starlight to rest on that hazy light.

“I miss you.”

The sudden sweet talk made Ranita’s ears tingle.

What was up with Brendon? He used to be like an iceberg, but now that he’s opened up, it’s like he’s unstoppable!

“Really?” Ranita’s mood soared, sweetly she asked, “Where are you?”

“Guess?” Brendon’s low laughter sounded particularly pleasant in the night. However, from her balcony, she couldn’t see the black car parked by the roadside.

Ranita retreated to her room, touching her warm ears and asked, “Are you in Steland?”

Though it felt a bit self-indulgent, her heart was pounding like a drum, faster and faster.

“How are you so smart?!” Brendon’s deep voice came through, making Ranita’s heart leap to her throat.

“Did you really come to Steland? Where are you?”

They were both adults, and Brendon was such a calm and steady CEO. How could he have time for such things?

“Do you want to sneak out and see?”

Brendon suggested softly, as if afraid of disturbing anyone, like a thief.

Ranita’s face lit up with joy.

Without thinking, she put on her slippers and walked out.

Of course, despite her excitement, she had to be very quiet going downstairs. She tiptoed quickly to open the iron gate and peeked out. Sure enough, she saw Brendon hidden in the night.

The man was leaning against the car door, tall and straight. His simple trousers and white shirt were immaculate, making him look both expensive and handsome.

Hearing a sound, the man lifted his eyes slightly and seemed to smile at her.

Ranita’s heart almost leaped out of her throat. He really came! Her eyes grew misty, but her heart was sweet enough to make her throat ache.

“Brendon…” Ranita walked a few steps faster and threw herself into Brendon’s arms, hugging his waist tightly. “Why did you come?”

Brendon caught her in his arms.

The woman in his embrace wore only a simple nightgown. She must have come out in a hurry without even putting on a robe. Her arms, shoulders, and long legs were all exposed, looking like a pure white jasmine flower.

She smelled wonderful and looked so beautiful that he wanted to kiss her hard.

“I missed you.” The next second, Brendon wrapped one hand around her waist and pressed the other against the back of her head, kissing her directly.

The longing melted into the kiss, making it extremely gentle and enticing.

The atmosphere grew heated.

Ranita’s cheeks turned red from the kiss. After a long time, she caught her breath and looked up to ask, “Why didn’t you say anything before coming?”

Her lips, reddened from the kiss, moved as she spoke, making Brendon want to kiss her again.

“Stop kissing me; we’re on the main road!” Ranita pushed him away a few times but was directly pulled into the car by Brendon.

He placed her on his lap, holding her close. Ranita struggled shyly but noticed his fiery gaze falling on her collar…
