Chapter 8

Mya's P.O.V.

By the time I was finished telling daddy what happened he was in full tears. My heart literally broke at

the sight.

I kissed his cheek. "Daddy it's ok...see I'm fine now." I smiled the biggest smile I could form but I still

managed to see a stray tear fall down his cheek.

He shook his head. "Baby this isn't ok. None of this was ok. You were abused and treated horribly for

years and it kills me baby it literally kills me to hear it. I'm so-so sorry princess."

I smiled sadly. "Its ok daddy because now I have you."

He smiled and kissed my forehead. He grabbed a tissue off the table and wiped his eyes.

"Baby I don't want to see anymore tears from both of us ok?" I giggled and nodded "Ok daddy no more

tears I promise."

Michael's P.O.V.

My heart was literally broken at what I just heard. How could anyone hurt an innocent girl. Mya is so

sweet and harmless, I just don't understand.

I thought for a moment and tried to lighten the mood so I changed the subject.

"So sunshine...." I said happily bouncing her on my leg causing her to giggle. "What's your absolute

favorite color?" Her eyes lit up as she clapped her hands. "Purple daddy love purple so much." I

chuckled "is that so?" She nodded smiling brightly.

"What's your favorite animal?"

She kicked her feet absent minded and thought for a moment. "Umm I like puppies and kitty cats and

oooh um lions me love lions daddy!!!"

She jumped off my lap and crouched down on the floor curling her fingers into claws. "ROAR ROAR!!!"

She yelled running and jumping on the couch beside me. I laughed at her silliness and got on my

hands and knees as well curling my fingers to match her.

She giggled "Daddy nooo go away!!"

I smirked shaking my head. "No way miss lion I'm the king and I'm going to destroy youuuu!!"

She screamed out with joy as she quickly jumped off the couch and darted up the stairs with me Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
