“Kate needs a man in her life. Her past relationship was violet. Though she’s out of it now, I really want her to be with someone and not be lonely.” Anita finally told him after taking some deep breath.

Thomas almost stopped the car out of shock.

What the hell was she talking about. What should he then do about her girlfriend.

“So what will you like me t do about this?” he asked her.

“I really wish you can help me recommend her to someone. I trust your judgment and I know that whoever you choose for her will be good.”

“You think so?”

“I know so dear.”

“Well in that case, I will see what I can do.” he then told her and drove her home.

Anita was in a very jovial mood that night considering the fact that Thomas gave her the listening ear.

Finally, her friend would get the chance to love again.

Picking up her phone, she called Kate.

“Hey what’s up?”

“Hi girlie! Are you done with your man for the day?”

“Yea babe guess what?”

“Gist me.”

“He agreed. He said he would recommend you to someone he thinks is good for you.”

“Really? Awwn thank you do much Anita.”

“You are very welcome.”

“How about we meet up sometime tomorrow?”

“Yes sure. I will come around.”

“Ok good night.”

“Sweet dreams!”

“I can’t believe I have to recommend a man to her girlfriend.” Thomas said to someone on the phone as he walked around his balcony.

“You have to. It’s a plus for us. Listen, we need more supporters. Remember the job we have next week though. There must be no flaw.”

“I can’t forget the jib we have next week, but my issue now is searching for a man for some lady.”

“Recommend whoever I ask you to after some research.”

“I trust you Senior Partner.”

Laughing, “You have to.”

Thomas then ended the call and walked into his luxurious room. Ad he looked around his room walls painted red, he made his way to his large bed and laid on it. He was going to do as his senior partner had instructed.

He had to be successful in his endeavors.

Looking around his home and what he had achieved so far, he was marveled. No one would belief the amount of wealth he had been able to achieve in the past few months.

All thanks to his sound mind and smart brain.

Thinking about Anita, he felt like he should give up. He had never been a fan of women and their love affairs, but was only trying to tolerate Anita because he needed her to gain the trust of the general public.

He just hoped that she was going to do as planned.

Kate couldn’t be happier wherever she was as she imagined what kind of man was coming her way. It has always been such a blessing to be able to have a man by her side even though she was more worried about the character of the man that was coming her way sooner or later. She just hoped that it would be the kind if man that would complete her in a more positive way.

Hugging her big pillow under the big and soft bedsheets, she slept off.

The next day, Kate didn’t hesitate to hurry to Anita’s apartment to spend the time with her.

She was so happy about the good news she heard the night before.

“Oh my goodness! I can’t believe I am going into another relationship sooner. Seems like Thomas is not as bad as I thought earlier.” she said to Anita who smiled while listening.

“Well he isn’t as bad as we thought. I confirmed it last night.”

“What?? What happened last night?” Kate asked curiously.

“Hmm! A lot happened. Nevermind!” Anita said shyly. She had never been the type to really talk about her private life. She didn’t even know when it slipped out of her tongue, but she knows that it’s because of how comfortable she was with her girlfriend.

Kate was surprised as she thought of what could have happened last night as her curiosity grew.

“Tell me Anita. What happened?” she persuaded.

Anita didn’t really know where to start as she nodded her head. “You are so curious.”

“If course I am. Please tell me!”

“Okay, so we almost did it last night. I pulled out and he respected my decision. I never thought he could ever be as gentle as he was yesterday. I am super proud of my relationship with him. He was so cool and he protected me with all he got yesterday.” she said to him.

“That’s so great to hear. Are you going to the office today?”

“I don’t think so. There’s nothing at hand today.”

NYC POLICE STATION

After organizing his documents secretly in his office, he called on his assistant and had it distributed across his people in the station.

Thomas had a high status in the station due to the work ethics he displayed and majority of the people in the force respected him and it was the same for the general public.

Thinking about what his boss had said to him this morning, he then thought it would be beneficial if he got to work immediately.

Later that evening, Anita and Kate found their way to an eatery close by to have their dinner.

Kate was to sleep over in Anita’s apartment, so Anita decided to give her a dinner outside of home to keep her lively knowing fully well how much Kate loves going to restaurants.

“This place is cool. Though simple, but their foods are delicious.” Kate said like she knows all the restaurants in the city.

“You know right!”

“Anita, what about Andre?”

Anita froze.

She had not expected that question all of a sudden.
