After we are done with our intense kiss, George went out of the bed but not without asking me if I could manage myself to the restroom or he should carry me there.

I stood up from the bed and walked feebly to the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and after I was done, I slipped inside the jacuzzi.

George already asked a maid to prepare my bath for me before.

I stepped out of the bathroom and went to the table to cream my body.

I jolted back when a hand suddenly came around my waist but sighed in relieve as I turned around and saw George.

“Hi.”he whispered.

His hot breath was fanning my neck.

“Hi.”I replied and turned back in continuing creaming my body.

“What do you say about going to Las Vegas for our honeymoon moon?.”he asked and began giving my earlobes small bites and I moaned.

He turned me around to face him.

“so, what do you think?.. Las Vegas is a good place.”

“That will be awesome.”I smiled.

I laughed and rolled my eyes.

“Come on…”he whined.

“But we just finished kissing a while ago. A long one at that.”I said.

I sighed then went on a toe and pecked his lips.

He frowned.

“That wasn’t a kiss”he pouted.

“Then what’s a kiss, it’s either you have it or leave it. “I scoffed.

“Well then.. let me give you the definition of kiss.”he said and claim my lips immediately in a kiss.

After I was done eating my breakfast under the watch of George in the bedroom, a maid came to call me that Beck requested my presence downstairs.

“Tell Mom she just finished eating. She has to rest.”George cuts in.

“No. Tell her I’m coming.”I said and the maid gave a reluctant nod before walking out

“I will be back “i said and walked down stairs.

I wasn’t much surprised when i saw all the maids all lined up in front of Beck.

“Now, this is the last time i will be asking you this, who among destroy the dress on Janelle’s bed?. It’s better you come out voluntarily now, perhaps, i will be soft on you than letting me find out by my self cause i swear with my whole life, in will sack the person and even send her to the prison for three years.”

I sat down on the couch.

The maids gasped and glanced at their selves.

“How did the wedding dress she placed on the bed disappeared inside the wardrobe and how come there was another dress on the bed. And, i believe the person that destroyed the cloth on the bed must have thought it was the wedding gown so how, who exactly, u Don’t wanna know about how the dresses changed location anymore. Who the hell destroyed the dress!.”she yelled.

The maids moved back in panic.

Suddenly, Gracia stepped out.

I didn’t believe Gracia can do a thing like that.

I’m really disappointed in her.

After all her timid and gentle act, she did this

“I only did what i could do to stop her from destroying your wedding.”she quickly added and pointed to Evelyn.

Evelyn looked taken aback as her eyes popped out of her sockets.

“I knew your plan all along. I knew you collected money for someone on the promised to destroy miss Janelle’s dress. I mean it’s quite obvious. The way you’re acting jittery.”she explained.

“She did?.”Beck asked and she nodded.

“Gracia!…”Evelyn called.

“Come on, you know nothing. I didn’t..,

“Oh please, Evelyn. I knew it and i saw it.”Gracia retorted.

“Okay, this is all crazy!. What the hell Evelyn, we’re you the one that destroyed the dress on my bed?.”i chipped in.

“No ma’am, Gracia is only gibbering…”

“Tell me the truth, Evelyn!.”

No wonder she’s exceedingly cheerful and friendly. This was all her doing.

“You’re fired!. Go in and pack your clothes. I don’t want to see you around anymore!.”Beck said.

Diana’s Pov.

After the wedding, I’d followed Ren to his house and spend the night over.

When i woke up, he had already prepared breakfast and we both ate together.

After we are done, i stood and went back to the room and started preparing to leave.

I sat on the bed and wore my shoes.

Ren came in and threw a quizzical look at him.

“You’re going already?.”he scoffed and i nodded.

“Come on, today is sunday which means no work. Can’t you at least stay with me, for today?.”

“I wish i could but, i have a lot of work to do and…”

“Save me that crap, Diana.”he rolled his eyes.

I sighed and stood then took my bag.

“Ooh… you’re not gonna change your decision?.”he frowned.

“I really wish i could, but you know..”i shrugged with a sigh,

“And besides you’re also going to work so…”

“Ugh. I don’t go to work on Sundays and the couples would probably be busy.”

Okay?..

“Bye.”i smiled and as i tried to work past him to the door, he drew me back and started kissing me.

Janelle’s Pov

…. One month later…..

George and i returned to Phoenix after spending our honeymoon in Las Vegas for a month.

I resumed back to work after a week and continued with my case.

I went to the man i am indicting in the prison and asked for his address.

He probably knew what i was trying to do cause he hesitated but when i told him that his daughter interference may actually save me, he gave me the address and when i got there, i met a girl at about seven years with a lady i assumed to be her nanny.

I explained things to her and she didn’t want to release the girl to me but when i showed her my ID card, she let me take her.

I took her to the car and opened the passenger door for her and she got in and i went to sat at the driver’s seat.

Diana’s Pov

I decided to check up on Ren cause i went to his side for some investigation.

I silently hoped he would be at home.

I knocked on his apartment door but got no response..

I pushed the door a little and was surprised when i found it opened.

How can he be so careless?.

I walked in and sighted a lady’s shoe lying randomly on the rug and bag on the couch but i paid no attention to it.

I went to his room and opened the door hoping to see and give him a earful about him being so careless.

But, i got the shock of my life.

He was there on the bed.. having… having s$x with another lady who was carelessly moaning.

What?!.

I stood there transfixed not knowing what to do.

Could i possibly yell¿

Or…

They didn’t even notice my presence as they were busy making do with their business.

Tears welled up in my eyes and i covered my palm with my mouth then rushed out.

Janelle’s Pov.

The ride with the girl was silent.

When i tried to break the silent, she kept dismissing my discussion.

When i asked about her name, she shook her head.

I asked if she has eaten, she nodded.

I know very well that if i brought up a conversation about her dad’s, she will respond probably but it is against the system.

My phone started ringing on the dash board and i peeked inside it and saw it was Diana calling.

I picked it up and i heard her sniffed.

Huh?.

Is she crying.

“Janelle.”she sobbed.

“What, what’s wrong with you Diana? Are you okay?.”

“I caught him cheating on me, Janelle ., it..”

“Whàt?, who? Ren¿?. “I çuts in as i glanced at the screen.

“I met him having….”

“Hey!. watch out!.”the girl yelled and i looked up to see a car driving towards us with great speed.

My eyes popped out of its sockets and i tried to turn away but it was too late as the car collided with mine.

The car tumbled over with a crash and the car that collided into us revived and drove away.

My sight was distorted but i managed to read the plate number before passing out.
