Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 438

Chapter 438

If Frederick was happy and made up with Alicia, then all her hard work was for nothing.

As they looked at each other, Danica said,

"We need to calm them down and get a hold of ourselves. Someone could get the drop on us if we become disorganized. Frederick and Chet pick on up these kinds of things quickly."

"What do you mean by that?"

Now that she had his attention, Danica whispered in his ear, "I haven't finished preparing yet, but I have to move up my plans. Otherwise, it might be too late."

"Dad, we can only do so much now! The deal is done, and no matter whether we lose or not, we can't focus on just this anymore. It's time to clean up now! So timing is everything, don't you think?"

"Then do it!"

After helping Mr. Clark of the Seymon Group settle the customers at the hotel, she explained their taboos to the kitchen and waitstaff according to the customers' wishes before she shook his hand.

"If there is nothing else, I'll take my leave! Please don't hesitate to call at any time if you need anything else."

"Thank you so much, Miss Blanchard! How could I have known the different customs of this particular party of guests? We would have been disputing this issue indefinitely, though I did study their etiquette. Thank you, thank you so much...."

"You're most welcome. This group is a little more reserved than most and doesn't really practice warm greetings. Since Mr. Derek is the jealous type, they assumed you were pursuing his partner. You need to be a little more restrained to avoid this embarrassment."

Alicia advised him quietly before she waved goodbye and left.

After she left, she noted it was still early. She expected Frederick to be in a good mood today, so she was determined to wait and explain it all clearly. Alicia found a small diner nearby and had a quick bite.

As she walked out while checking her phone. Just as she was heading to the parking lot, an angry figure rushed at her. Before Alicia could react, she was shoved roughly.

"Alicia Blanchard! You shameless b*tch!"

Lindsay?

Just as she tried to catch herself from falling, her cell phone and bag were snatched away and smashed to the ground. Looking down, Alicia saw that her cell phone was shattered into pieces.

"Are you crazy? What are you doing? Running me into the ground?"

Alicia retrieved her bag and phone as she glowered. Why did this nutcase keep targeting her?

"Alicia Blanchard, you flirtatious, shameless woman! How dare you lie to me? You're seducing Jeremy again, aren't you? We have a good life. Why are you bothering us again?"

"Do you think I don't know what you did?"

"If it weren't for you, he wouldn't be sick! If you hadn't seduced him, he wouldn't be calling out your name unconsciously. He hasn't mentioned you for a long time!"

Unrelenting, Lindsay pointed her finger at Alicia as she yelled, snatching at her bag and phone.

Struggling to resist, Alicia also fought and pulled back.

"Lindsay, are you out of your mind? You' re an absolute lunatic! Your man screws around, yet you come to me looking for trouble. Is there something wrong with your brain? Understand this, I've never taken the initiative to provoke him!"

"What Jeremy is doing and whose name he's calling out is something you should ask him. What does any of this have to do with me? I don't control him. F*ck!"

"You're both detestable! I can't wait to get rid of both of you!"

"You're a madwoman!"

It was bound to be messy when she was wrongly accused of things, and it made Alicia even angrier.

"Can't you understand what I'mFrom NôvelDrama.Org.

"Why the hell are you haunting me?"

Shaking with anger, Alicia and

Lindsay scuffled in the street,

cursing at each other. Alicia

managed to land some punches and kicks before they finally glared at each other. Although there were no scratches, they were both livid!

Lindsay straightened out her clothes and pointed at her.

"It's best if you remember what you said! Don't bother him anymore! Jeremy won't be interested in a vain, gold-digging b*tch like you."

"Hah!" With a cold laugh, Alicia said, "I doubt he wouldn't be interested in you either, you snake!"

"What do you mean by that? Do you plan on two-timing? I'm afraid you would end up with nothing and die not knowing how!"

As Alicia straightened her clothes, she calmed down as well.

"Take this time to worry about yourself! Don't end up being kicked out of the family after scheming for so long. How shameful! You aren't married to him yet. What proof do you have to come to question me and call me names? If I were you, Lindsay, I would spend time with my man and think of how to become his lawful wife instead of fighting others! What's the point in all of this?"

Then, she looked at both of their broken phones. Alicia sighed before she turned around and strode away.

Behind her back, Lindsay seemed to be in a daze for a moment, but then she started slowly picking up the bits and pieces as a smile appeared on the corner of her lips.

After being roughed up by Lindsay, her phone was broken, and she had been delayed for half an hour. Furthermore, the traffic made her too late to catch the end of the workday at Soaver

International.

For a moment, she didn't know whether she should continue on to the company, or go home, or try to get her cell phone fixed. She felt disheartened as she drove towards Soaver International.

The car inched forwards slowly. When she stopped at a red light, she fixed her appearance and cursed Lindsay profusely.

She inadvertently glanced at a figure dressed in pink and blue, and her world exploded.

Danica?

The clothes she was wearing...?

Why does it look so similar to the one she had cut up? The exuberant pink and blue mermaid skirt in that exact color, with a simple but unique style, was etched in Alicia's mind.

Hadn't he said it was custom made, and he had bought it all?

Was it a coincidence that Danica had the exact same outfit? Was it a high-end imitation or a fake?

No!

After all, her family was wealthy. She knew very well that branded goods were not only for vanity in the upper-class circle but also a symbol of stature and taste...
