Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 471

Chapter 471

She went up to the counter and made sure that Frederick wasn't back yet. After waiting for a moment, she told herself that he must've been busy and didn't want to hurry him. After looking at the time, Alicia bent down again and left her suitcase at the counter. She was so hungry to the point that she couldn't stand it anymore, so she left for her dinner.

After her stroll, it was soon past 9:30 p.m., and he should be back soon, so she returned to the hotel. She took her suitcase and asked,

"Excuse me, sir, is the man in room A808 back yet?"

"He just came back! We haven't notified him just yet. Let's give him a surprise! Miss and Mr. Clements seem like a really perfect match..."

"Thank you!"

She nodded with a smile, and the pace of Alicia's movements couldn't help but speed up.

On the way up in the elevator, she did a quick touch-up of herself in front of the mirror, and then trotted along the way.

At this moment, Frederick received the contract in his room and handed it to a tall, young man with wavy hair who was on the sofa.

"President Pierce, I'm sorry for bothering you at this hour. This contract wasn't that important anyways. The main reason I invited you over today was because I've stored a bottle of 1787 Lafite red wine in the hotel. I heard that you have a special affection for Lafite, and I knew you'd admire it..."

As he stood straight, the man was obviously a little excited.

"It's from 1787? Was it from President Thomas Jefferson's collection that was auctioned off? I heard that he released it at a price of a hundred and fifty thousand US dollars in 1985? And it's apparently in your hands?" The man, Shelton Pierce, asked.

"That's correct! You're indeed an expert! It was a coincidence that I got it, but I'm not sure whether it's real or fake. You can help me figure it out later!" He took two wine glasses and placed them on the table. Frederick smiled feebly. It was then that the doorbell rang.

"I'll go take a look!"

Frederick thought it was the waiter who came with the wine, so he opened the door without any

hesitation.

When their eyes met, he was utterly surprised. Alicia raised her hand and gave him a smile. "Hubby, I'm here to check up on you!"

As soon as she said that, she wanted to enter the room.

With his sudden reflexes, he abruptly came out and closed the door. "Why are you here? Who told you to come?"Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

The sharp tone of his was as if he threw a wet blanket over her. Her expression darkened. It didn't turn out like how she had expected it, especially when she saw him obstructing the door. She was happy and surprised at first, but now, her heart was cold, and her gaze towards him became a little dull.

Right then, a man's voice was heard from the room. "Mr. Clements?"

In a snap, an anxious Frederick had pushed her. "Go! Hide in the bathroom! I won't be seeing you yet! Don't come out! Go now!"

As soon as he drove her away, Alicia's mind was in a daze, but her intuition told her that something was wrong, so she followed the direction he pointed in and ran towards it.

Frederick turned around and was about to return when he found that the door had been closed. He immediately stood at the door and turned to the other side, blocking the direction of Alicia's departure. Out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed that she was no longer to be seen, therefore he was slightly relieved. At this time, the door of the room had opened.

"Mr. Clements, is the wine here yet? Who were you talking to earlier?" Shelton asked. Why did he hear the voice of a woman?

In the middle of their conversation, Shelton walked out and patrolled around the corridor.

"The waiter. They brought the wrong order!"

Subconsciously, Frederick turned his body to the side. His heart started pounding heavily. Looking up, he saw a waiter slowly walking towards him with a bottle of wine in his arms. He quickly raised his hand.

"Why were you so slow?" He said.

The waiter immediately ran over with the wine bottle in his hands as Frederick had signaled him with his eyes. He quickly handed it to Shelton and said, "I'm sorry, sir. Here you go!"

As he took the wine, his attention was drawn back. He also excitedly said. "It's really antique!"

He turned around and entered the room while speaking. Frederick gazed in the direction of where Alicia had disappeared, and he released a sigh of relief.

Shelton was notorious for being a scumbag. He seemed to have an addiction. He would turn into an animal whenever he saw a beautiful woman, like a cat in heat. There were rumors that he wouldn't let go of his clients' wives. He even defiled them on the dinner table. What's more, he drugged them in a dirty way, and it only took less than ten minutes!

However, there was no other way around it. They all knew that they were unable to resist the b*stard's skills in the field of medicine. Many people relied on him to cross the threshold of the pharmacy supervision bureau. It was said that he defiled another person's wife and paid them a year's worth of special medicine. They simply closed their eyes and let him go!

He wasn't afraid of the failure of his business. This person was too much of a scoundrel. If he was interested in someone, he would do everything he could to drug them. He always brought his medicine with him! Therefore, the people who talked business with him were forced to agree! It's all because of his second uncle who cared the most about him!

There were only two things that piqued Shelton's interest: women and wine! Hence, everyone knew that they couldn't bring any women with them when they had a meetup or a meal with him. If he targeted them, he would chase them and eventually get his hands on them.

Besides that, every time he saw a beautiful woman, a switch in his mind would immediately flip. He

often couldn't control himself in front of them and would defile them

several times a day. However, typically wouldn't be more than ten

minutes before he got over it. Of course, this was limited to dealing with strangers! It was said that he was generous to women in private, and he also had a girlfriend. Even if he changed partners frequently, he was a little abnormal in that respect!

Everyone knew that he was ill in that sense, but they also heard that there was no effective treatment for him! However, he was bald and sallow at such a young age, so they figured that his kidneys were seriously injured!

Therefore, all men and women avoided him unless they needed his help. No one was willing to be close to him in private!

Frederick wanted it to be over as soon as possible, and because he was in Lesterdam City, it was just an important middle segment. He didn't look for any other ways around it. As long as he was able to cope with it, then Shelton would no longer be needed in the future!

That's why Fredrick had to endure such a person!

They discussed everything in the room. Frederick handed the wine directly to him. While looking at the time, he also called the accompanying manager and requested him to find a beautiful young lady for him.

When they left, he personally accompanied Shelton to the elevator. After receiving the manager's reply that the woman had been sent in, he then turned and walked towards the bathroom. There was a big hole in his heart, and a question appeared in Fredrick's mind.

"Why was she here in Lesterdam City? The woman who was with Jeremy last night..."

In the bathroom, Alicia's face was ashen as she sat on an empty suitcase; it was as if she was grieving.

She had come here in search of

happiness and comfort! She really

wanted to suppress her anger towards her aunt's situation. In addition, she was also troubled that Frederick went on a business trip and the two of them were separated. She really wanted to meet and talk to him. Who would've thought that she would be unhappy and unsatisfied during her visit?

"What kind of attitude was that? Did he not miss me at all? I wasn't expecting him to react like that when he saw me? He didn't seem to have the slightest bit of conscience! Didn't he know that I've been eating and sleeping poorly because I was worried about him?! Men were clueless! Clueless!

She fiddled with her little hands and poked the suitcase. In a flash, Alicia's heart was broken into pieces. She had gone through all this effort to meet him and also stay the night with him. At this moment, all the plans and even the words that she wanted to tell him were all in vain. She had lost all her

feelings!

"Ally, are you there?" Frederick called out.
