Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 721

The next day, when Trevor opened his eyes, it was twilight.

He was feeling the softness in his arms, but he was feeling down again. He gently held her in his arms and couldn't help but planted a kiss gently on her hair.

It would be great if she could always stay by his side. It was indeed not a good thing when a woman is being too opinionated.

He just hadn't cleared up the mess from his past relationship. Had she decided to give up just because of that? Was she just waiting for him to slip so that she could run away from him?

Trevor caressed her pink cheek gently, and he suddenly missed the person who would run around busily in the kitchen for him. Was that quiet companionship the so-called peace and harmony in life?

However, she had already retreated from him like a tide before he even had the chance to appreciate her.

Turning over, Trevor took out a box of cigarettes from the bedside table. He took one out and lit it.

In her sleep, Victoria faintly smelled a choking stench. She wriggled and coughed a little. Then, she subconsciously leaned towards the warmth beside her, as half of her body still lay next to him. One of her arms was even put across his waist. Like a shrimp, she curled up her body and mumbled,

"No, don't..."

"I'm so tired. Let me go. Let me go..."

Victoria tilted her head to another direction and adjusted to a position which was the most comfortable for her. Then, she fell asleep again while mumbling.

Trevor stubbed out the cigarette butt. He raised his hand and waved it in front of him to dispel the thick smoke. As if he was patting his most beloved pet, he gently stroked her hair and uttered,

"What should I do with you?"

She looked gentle, but she was actually hot-tempered!

Did she become like that just because of a few old photos? He had already deleted the photos and changed the password. However, did she change herself as well?

Trevor caressed her again and again, and suddenly he paused as he thought of something. He looked at the person at his side again, then he took his cell phone next to him, turned on the small night lamp on the bedside, adjusted its angle, and took several photos of her. Then, he chose the safest photo and saved it in the album.

Then, he slowly lowered his body and pulled her into his embrace. Subconsciously, he called her softly, "Vicky..."

In her sleep, either she did hear him or she was sleep talking, Victoria actually answered, "Mmm..."

"Don't leave me, and don't betray me!"

Trevor murmured as he closed his eyes. "Don't let me down. I'll love you for the rest of my life!"

She was his wife, the one whom he would spend the rest of his life with!

That time, the only response he got was dead silence.

In a trance, Trevor fell back asleep again. Victoria had actually heard everything he said while she was in a daze, but she thought that she was dreaming.

When Trevor opened his eyes again, the person in his arms was still sleeping soundly. He slowly put her down and covered her with the blanket nicely. Then, he quietly tiptoed and went to wash up.

After checking the time, he gave up the idea of having breakfast with her. Trevor picked up his cell phone.

When he was about to go out, he looked back and saw the pair of annoying soft toys on the sofa. He turned around, grabbed their ears, and took them out.

After being tormented until midnight, Victoria was clearly worn out. She was in a deep sleep. When she opened her eyes, she felt sore all over, as if she had been beaten up.

Oh, no! It was already nine o'clock!

She rushed to the bathroom, and she felt like her feet couldn't reach the ground. Victoria couldn't help whining. Fortunately, she could slack off at work sometimes! He was unyielding, and no one would have been able to withstand him.

After quickly getting ready, Victoria

grabbed her handbag and was about to head out. She had already walked past the sofa, but she stumbled back to it as she glanced at it. She lifted the cushion on the sofa, scratched her head and she was in a daze as she muttered to herself.

"Hey, where are my cute rabbits? Weren't they on the sofa?"

Turning back, she looked around again and then ran to another side to draw all the curtains open. She flipped over the carpet and ran back to check the edge of the sofa, the floor and every gap in the room one by one, and she muttered again.

"That's weird! Where are my prizes?"

Did she put them in the closet room? Did she go in there the previous day?

Totteringly, she went to the closet room. After searching around a few times in the big room, her forehead had become sweaty when she finally stood still.

Where were her cute rabbits? Why were they missing?

Victoria knocked her forehead and began to doubt if she was being forgetful. As her eyes fell on the plastic wrappers in the trash can, her footsteps paused.

Were those the wrappers? If so, she must have brought them home! That was right! Who touched her rabbits?

After making another around, she gritted her teeth in anger. Who else could be in this house except for her?

While carrying her handbag and walking out, Victoria took out her cell phone and called Trevor.

"Trevor, you b*stard! You didn't only bully me last night, now you even took my soft toys away without my permission? Give them back to me immediately!"

On the other end, the meeting was ongoing. Suddenly, he heard an

angry female voice over the phone, and the large conference room

quieted down in an instant. The

manager, who was next to Trevor, heard the shouting on the phone, and couldn't help but chortled, following by a suppressed laugh and a fake cough!

After roaring angrily, Victoria could sense a little bit of strangeness. Looking at the cell phone, she suddenly shivered and lost her anger. "You... What are you doing?" Why did she feel like she could hear many people's voices?

"Baby, I am in a meeting!" Trevor answered.

Hearing the low chuckle and the teasing tone, Victoria was astounded and quickly hung up the phone. Pacing at the door, her face instantly turned red like a tomato.NôvelDrama.Org © content.

Was he in a meeting? A meeting! Why did he answer her call while he was in a meeting? What had she been saying just now?

While she was worrying ceaselessly, she saw two objects that resembled rabbit ears in a trash can not far away from the car.

As she slowly walked over, Victoria

saw the two cute rabbits were ripped open in the big trash can, and

there was trash outside the trash

can. By then, the corners of the

rabbits were stained with dirty things, and the cotton at some parts was exposed.

Staring at them, Victoria almost went crazy with anger.

Who had offended this b*stard? How dare he vent his anger on her soft toys? It was so annoying!

Victoria cursed all the way to the company. As soon as she entered the office, she saw a bouquet of delicate pink tulips on her desk, with a cartoonish

rabbit on it. The rabbit was holding a card in its arms, written,

"Vicky, good morning! Wish you have a good mood the whole day!"

The signature was a letter "T"!

"Trevor! D*mn your good mood!" Victoria grumbled.
