"Master Clements, why are you hurt so badly? I'm so distressed!"

She followed him all the way to the hospital. When Alicia arrived at the consultation room, the doctor had already removed his gauze. She noticed that half of his left arm was covered with scars and blood. It was a terrible sight to behold.

"Master Clements, some sand and soil are deep inside the skin. We must clean it up! It may hurt a little!" the doctor said.

"Okay..."

Seeing that he nodded, the doctor next to him took a tweezer and disinfectant. He started his work on his arm little by little. He clamped the tweezers between his fingers and worked on it. Blood- stained cotton balls slowly piled up as the sharp tweezer kept dancing on Frederick's arm, and blood flowed even more.

Alicia could only stare. It was so painful to watch that she gritted her teeth. Frederick just frowned, and occasionally there were hissing sounds and heavy breathing.

The doctor was sweating after a while. He took off his mask and wiped his face. Then, he went to get a change of some medical supplies.

He informed, "I'll help you get some anesthetic! There are still a lot of them! I have to go deeper..."

"There's no need! Just continue!" Frederick said.

As soon as Frederick said it, the doctor paused with the syringe in his hands and looked at Carson who was beside him. When he saw Carson nodding, he continued to work.

Alicia's eyes turned red in an instant. She did not expect him to be so badly injured! For a long while, she bit her lips and crouched down at the door. She dared not go in, but she did not want to leave either.
