He came closer to me and my heart was racing so fast this time around and I was expecting the kiss this moment as I closed my eyes.

My eyes were still closed when I noticed his hands around my hair helping me to fix it properly and then he said.

“Why are your eyes closed, or are you expecting something?”

I opened them and was angry at him, he knows how to tempt someone sk easily and make someone fall for his charm.

“No not at all, I just thought of something. Whenever I’m thinking, I like my eyes close so I won’t be distracted” I lied to him faking my laugh.

I laughed within me, I’m so happy and glad that I know someone like him, how I wish he didn’t meet me as a maid but anyway, I can’t change my fate now.

The movie finished and I went to the lady’s room to change back to my old outfit, he wanted to know why but I just told him nothing.

I was surprised when he said to me, “Does it mean that you don’t like the design of the dress? Next time I will get one designed with your name and make sure you are the only one having such a design.” He said entering the car after he opened for me.

He dropped me at my friend’s place whom I know is sleeping right now for she loves sleep than food.

I waited for my boss to leave finally before I started walking home, getting home I greeted my parents but I was welcomed with a slap.

“Mom, what did I do this time around?” The boldness just came over again and she pounced on me, I started begging.

Mom pulled me by my ears as she said, “In your life don’t you ever raise your voice at me for you will see more of your blood if this should repeat itself, useless child! Now go and wash the dishes.” I nodded and went straight to the kitchen.

I was crying as I washed the dishes in the kitchen. There is not a day I don’t offend my parents unknowingly, why are they behaving in such a way to me?

They don’t even ask about how my work is going or any stuff like that.

I got my happiness back when the thought of my boss came to my head and with that I finished my work, heading to my storeroom to sleep with happiness.

I woke up as usual to do my daily routine, Joanna gave me some of her clothes to iron which I did unknown to me when I left the house for work I forgot to switch off the iron and it was still on the clothes.

At work, I was busy cleaning around when I noticed my boss leaving the house and he looked at me with a smirk on his face, but I acted like I didn’t see him for other maids might notice this closeness and report to his mom.

He finally left winking at me and my heart raced as a reaction to what he just did.

I noticed my boss came back from work but another person coming down from a different car, damn handsome like my boss and I believe he’s a billionaire as well.

They went in but they didn’t see me because I hid.

I went to Brenda asking her about the young Mr I saw with the boss if he was related to him and Brenda started laughing so hard.

“Not at all Bella, they aren’t related okay. The Mr you just saw is sir Theo, boss’s best friend. They have been close friends ever since they have been a kid, okay!! they are both nicknames the BS.” Brenda replied to me.

“What’s BS please, I don’t understand, and don’t be offended because I know I’m asking lots of questions already”, I said with a calm face and low tone.

“It’s fine okay. BS simply means Billionaire sons. Their parents are also close friends but mostly about business.”

“Wow thanks for answering all my questions, will go ahead to wash the clothes in the machine.” I said to her.

“No, you are not washing them!” Brenda said to me making me look so confused right now.

“But why?” I asked.

“Another maid will do that, the boss wants you to prepare this for him and his friend.” She showed me the list.

“What?” I reacted out of shock.

“You are damn lucky, seems I’m right after all that the boss is having an interest in you but you keep on denying it, it’s written everywhere dear”, she started again about the love sermon.

“Oh nothing like that, I’m just a maid to him and nothing more. I will go and prepare the food now.” I said to her ending the topic.

“Mmm okay dear, I will be here to see it all, also serve them the food when you are done with cooking okay”, she said and I nodded.

I went to the kitchen and everything I needed to prepare the meal was already in the kitchen” I admire the rich, they make sure everything needed to prepare a dish is always complete”.

“But come to think of it, why does he want me to prepare the food for him and serve him and his friend as well? I’m so nervous but father help me please.” I said as I started slicing the carrots and green pepper.

The food was ready and I dished it on the plates, after which I arranged them on a tray as I went to serve the food.

I stood at his door and knocked, he opened the door and he was looking extremely hot this evening.

“OMG! I don’t get it. Why is he torturing me with his hotness and cuteness?” I asked myself mentally.

“Bring the food in.” He winked at me.

I greeted his friend and he replied to me nicely, I served the food and he appreciated me and said, “You have a lot to do for me tomorrow okay.” I nodded saying, “Okay sir, I will take my leave now.”

It was time for me to go home, I was super happy thinking of what stuff I will be doing for him tomorrow.

I opened the door and I notice the tension everywhere, I saw Joanna crying and mom calming her.

What exactly is happening?

“The witch herself is finally here.” Mom said looking at me with anger.

I greeted them but she ordered me to go on my knees which I obeyed instantly.

She showed me the cloth I burnt and how I almost set the house ablaze.

I bit my lips. Damn I forgot to disconnect the iron. I was scared now because I had no idea what punishment awaited me but i knew it will be terrible.

“I’m sorry ma, I forgot, I was doing lots of different works at the same time, please forgive me”. Tears started gushing down from my eyes but nothing moved mom but she was moved at my sister’s tears saying how expensive the cloth was.

I received the beatings of my life, mom brought the iron that was a bit hot close to me as I screamed begging, even my dad was there but he left.

I screamed in fear and cried out my life asking for her forgiveness but she held me tight and opened my shirt at the back. After I fell on the floor and I lost strength, she placed the hot iron on my back, I screamed the hell of life out of me.
