Chapter 1 The Lives of the Two Children
Chapter 1 The Lives of the Two Children
"Pregnant again?”
Aleena Wilson was stunned and sat on sofa, stroking her abdomen and mumbling.
After a year of marriage, this was her third pregnancy.
Her first two children had been aborted by her husband Spencer Cook in the cruelest way.
Aleena showed a wry smile. Looking at the signed divorce agreement on the tea table, her eyes were
firm and resolute. Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
This baby could be her last chance. If she aborted it again, she could never be a mother.
She had to protect it, at all costs...
The bedroom’s door opened and the tall figure of Spencer walked in from the outside.
Aleena hurried to stand up. Her pretty face without makeup turned pale.
"Spencer, I have signed the divorce agreement. From now on there will be nothing between you and
me." She spoke quietly, her fingers hanging clenched nervously.
Spencer froze, raised his fierce black eyes, staring at Aleena.
"You want a divorce?" He stretched his long legs, expressionlessly. But his chill momentum made
Aleena tremble on legs.
"Yes, let's get divorced. Rosalie..." Before she could finish her words, she felt dizzy in head and pain in
throat.
Spencer stepped forward and strangled her by the neck. With such force, he really wanted to kill her.
"Aleena, dare you mention Rosalie!" Spencer looked sharply at her with his dark eyes. "When you
married me willingly, why didn't you think of getting a divorce? Want to leave now? Have you paid off
your debt?"
"Spencer, you've aborted two of my children. Isn't that enough?" Aleena was pinched by neck. Her face
blushed and she burst into tears, "In those days I did not......!"
In the middle of her address, the fingers on her neck tightened suddenly, as if to crush her delicate
bones.
"Shut up! I've had enough of your lies and excuses! No matter what tricks you are playing now, you will
not leave this marriage until I have punished you enough!"
With that, he pinched Aleena by the neck, pinned her to the ground, rolled her over to bury her face
against the hard floor.
And then he tore apart her skirt.
"Spencer, stop!" Aleena struggled. Every time this man wanted to have sex with her, he was fierce as if
he was to kill her. Now she was pregnant, she did not want to do that with him.
Spencer violently pressed her body, leaving large bruise marks.
Aleena struggled violently. And her hand fumbled a pair of scissors on the tea table.
Without hesitation, Aleena aimed at the neck of Spencer.
"Don't touch me, Spencer!" Her fingers holding the scissors shivered, "Divorce with me, and that you
can be with Rosalie."
The sharp scissors were just a few centimeters from Spencer's neck.
He raised his cold eyes, and stared ironically at the trembling eyes of Aleena.
Aleena felt her heart contracted. The next second, her wrist was grabbed. He spared no effort to
mercilessly clench his fingers, which cause pain to Aleena’s fair skin, and then pressed it to the
ground.
