A week later, Joel was in his office, sorting some files on his desk when his assistant Carey rushed up to him with eyes so lit they could ignite a candle.

“Sir, you need to see this!” She exclaimed, placing her laptop in front of Joel to take a look at the pdf documents she received from Anna.

Carey had compiled files like she would when fighting to impress a client who wanted to know about their brand before signing a deal with them.

They were experimented on until they lost their lives or actually awakened the ability, but they still got killed due to the never-ending experiments.

The scientists still use them to understand why they survived and what more their body could do.

They were as cruel as the horror they foretold.

A CEO of a corporation suddenly got notified of the sudden disappearance of his twin brother. The CEO is the protagonist who saves the city with his hidden power during the time of need under a disguise but lives a normal life every morning of his life.

He had awakened the power to shape-shift his body into weapons and even morph his body into a different person entirely.

He was a sought-after man by the government for their political interest and a potential lab rat for the scientists.

Apparently, his twin had been abducted like most people, but he wasn’t planning to lose his brother. Hence, he decided to put an end to the cruelty of the researchers who are nothing but criminals.

It would be researched and depending on how good the movie does at the box-office, his company could become one of the leading top brands in the country and sought after all over the country the movie had gained traction.

This opportunity was supposed to be fought for, but he got it for free.

“She also offered us 1 per cent share of the revenue generated from the movie.” Carey said, as if reading where his thought had landed.

Joel was stunned.

“Heck! I’d pay for this opportunity myself if required.” Joel commented as his eyes scrolled through the names of the other popular actors and actresses.

“I know, right?” Carey chimed in.

“Did she say anything else?” Joel asked.

“Yes sir. She said her whole effort from childhood till present is at stake, hence why he chose your company because she trusted your judgment and how you wouldn’t stab her at the back, but just to be safe, you must avoid trouble that could impact your company wrongly after signing the contract and also till the end of the movie production.” Carey explained.

Realizing that Anna had every reason to demand him to meet up with her, he groaned softly at how rude he had responded to her, although he called it being careful.

“Boss, she will be back in a week. I think this is a deal you should handle in person. Should I book an appointment with her?” She asked.

Joel shook his head. “I will pick her up at the airport.” He said.
