CEO’s Paid Bride

Diego’s POV.

The weather was becoming very cold and the Air conditioner wasn’t helping matters, the entire room was cold.

I woke up and pulled the duvet on my body. Just as I turned to sleep, I saw Brianna sleeping on the couch.

Switching on the lights, I climbed out the bed and walked to her.

There she was coiled up, her face had traces of tears on them.

My eyes got a glimpse of her arm.

It turned red. Did I do this to her?

Wait, she wasn’t acting at all.

I touched her bare skin and noticed how cold she was.

This girl, she’s very annoying. I’ve only been with her for hours and she had disturbed the hell out of my life.

I picked her up from the couch and let her enjoy the softness of my bed.

Just as I laid her down she winched and opened her eyes a little bit before going back to sleep.

Am not a wicked person but what she did was really bad.

Pulling the duvet over her, I moved to the other side of the bed and lay down ready to sleep.

Granny wants us to have a child first else she’ll not give back my inheritance. I don’t see myself getting intimate with Brianna anytime soon. She acts like a physcopath.

Brianna’s POV.

I woke up the next morning to a very warm feeling, my head laid on something soft yet warm. I tried untangling myself but I got even tightened.

I raised my head a little to see Diego’s face

He got me wrapped around his hands.

Wow! I thought I slept on the bed. Hmm so Diego took me to the bed and had the guts to touch me.

I used my other hand to pinch him so bad that he screamed.

“Good morning hubby” I smiled and tried to sit but I used my hand to support myself and it started hurting all over. This time it was worst but I tried holding the tears but I couldn’t.

“Does it hurt?”he asked. He’s only making fun of me now. Just then I saw him walking towards me, he took a seat beside me and pulled me by my waist before carrying me out of the bed.

“Let me go, you big headed man.” I yelled and he looked straight into my eyes.

“You’re being mean and I’ll appreciate it if you stop that”he rolled his words out before making me sit on a chair.

“I’ll call Yasmin to check up on you, she’s a doctor,”he added.

Why is he suddenly acting all nice? No I’ll have to act first before he acts, he might have something off he sleeves.

I limped to the bathroom, took the liquid soap and poured it on the floor.

He’ll definitely get the taste of his own medicine.

I covered the lid and tried walking out when I felt myself lose my grip, I lost balance and fell to the ground.

“Ahh!” I screamed before I felt darkness cover my eyes.

Diego’s POV.

Just as I and Yasmin got to my room door, I heard her scream.

“What’s up with this lady again?” I muttered underneath my breath and walked into my room surprisingly she wasn’t in the bed nor was she in the chair I made her sit on.

I matched forward and saw the bathroom door opened. There she was. Lying on the cold floor of the bathroom.

“Brianna!” I yelled but she didn make a move to stand.

“Take her out, I’ll check her. I think she slipped.” Yasmin stated.

I walked into the toilet and I almost feel, the ground was so slippery, I had to pick her very carefully.

Laying her on the bed Yasmin started checking her body.

“I’ll get medicines from my room in the meantime, change her into something better else she’ll catch a cold” I swallowed hard the moment she said that.

What! Brianna will kill me if I try to touch her. Netherless it’s for her own good..

The moment Yasmin left, I walked to the wardrobe to get her something good to wear but I couldn’t find anything, they all looked tight and hard to wear.. I couldn’t even identify them.

Just then my eyes went to my wardrobe, my shirts were big enough for her, yes.

I picked the yellow shirt and walked to her.

“This is for your good Missy” I said before climbing the bed.

I gently pulled the night gown she was wearing and it revealed her very slim body. Her body looked amazing, it had no mark, it was flawless, her skin looked so bright it glowed. Her breast stood so firm and her tummy so flat. She had everything.

I gently wore her the shirt and went off the bed .

The moment Yasmin came back, she gave her some medicine then applied a lotion to her head, arm and leg.

I have a feeling Brianna wants to get me into trouble.

“She’ll be fine and please once she wakes up make her eat then make her take these drugs. I’ll be back to check on her once I am back from the hospital” She announced before walking out of my room.

Brianna’s POV

My head was hurting. I made to open my eyes but everything was spinning, I just closed my eyes tight then realised a sigh.

“You’re finally awake” I heard his voice say with all calmness.

“I’ll help you up.”he said taking me up

I finally opened my eyes to see him seated before me with a worried look on his face.Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Ouch! My head.”, I cried taking my hand up to my head.

“You’ll be fine, just have this.” His voice seemed to have made the pain wear off. He took a glass of water to my lips and I sipped from it.

“I’ll be back” I watched him walking out of the room then come back a few minutes later with a tray in his hand.

“I looked around the room then at myself. I wasn’t wearing the clothes I had earlier on.

“Who changed my clothes?” I asked in a very low voice.

“I did. Do you have a problem?”

“Yes I do, you saw my naked state”I ranted.

“I see the medicine Yasmin gave you is working . That’s the reason your raising your voice, anyway we are married, I have every right to see your nakedness.”

“No you don’t. You’ve invaded my privacy. What more do you want? You blackmailed me into this marriage and now you’re claiming you have all right to see me naked. Why didn’t you have sex with me at once then I’ll know your really my husband”I yelled.

“You don’t get to yell at me Missy”

“I shouldn’t yell? Oh I shouldn’t yell. You know I was living my life at peace then you had to splash mud on me, because you’re rich you didn’t apologize and you haven’t done that. You then forced me to get married to you. Who told you I wanted to get married to you? I never wanted to I knew you’ll send me to jail and that was why I agreed, am acting all strong and okay but in reality am not, am fucking not okay. Am trying to adapt to this new life and what you did was see my nakedness. I fuçking hate you for this. I hate you” I yelled pushing him out of my way

The food fall to the ground and I limped out of the room going to God knows where.
