CEO’s Paid Bride

Brianna’s POV.

I had changed to a nice simple outfit. Diego still had some work he needed to do complete so he rushed breakfast and left for work as soon as possible

My mind hasn’t been at peace since I woke up from sleep. I keep thinking of a way to avoid Diego and cause him so many troubles but it seems like my plans will always backfire.

Am just so confused at the moment. What am I really doing in this house? Would I really give Diego an heir?

Even if it’s what I’m being paid for I just can’t. I can’t let him have me in a matter of three day.

I’ll have to think of a way out of this.

Just then my door cracked open and Yasmin walked in.

“Hi Anna. I’ll be going to the hospital now but Diego has asked me to check on you before leaving. So tell me how you feel?”

I realised a smile “My leg doesn’t hurt like before and I don’t have any ache on my head it’s just my arm that hurts” I smiled at her.

“Okay. That’s good , remember to take your medicine on time”

“I will”

Two days later. I hadn’t come up with a plan and Diego has started becoming so clingy to me. I no longer want to sleep on the same bed with him and I don’t want him looking eyes. He gives me this weird sensation.Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

I walked around the huge compound when his car pulled over.

I watched him open the door for him.

He came out of the car and the first person he looked at was me. He gave me this stupid smile as he took off his jacket and gave it to his guards.

Walking towards my direction, he called out to me “Hey missy”

“Why do you call me Missy?”

“Cause I want you to feed me to your lions”I glared hard at him.

“Just get out”

“What are you doing out here?”

“Am feeding my lions don’t you see” I said walking out of his presence.

I walked into the main room to see granny seated on a sofa.

“Good afternoon granny”Diego greeted and she returned it with a smile.

“Wait before you go in, son. I have something for the both of you”

“What’s that?” We both chorused.

“Tickets to Thailand for your honeymoon” she explained and the smile on my face changed into a frown immediately.

“Granny I and Anna are fine here. We don’t want to go for a honeymoon” Diego explained and I bit my lips , crossed my finger expecting her to say okay.

“What nonsense. Young people should go on honeymoon. The reservation is for two weeks you guys will be leaving tomorrow” she said, standing up from her chair.

She walked towards us and gave the paper in an envelope to me before whispering in my ears”make sure you seduce him honey. I need a grandchild” she smiled, kissed our forehead and walked out

“What just happened?” I questioned the moment we got to our room.

“This woman. This old woman”Diego sighed.

“Oh stop pretending like you’re not happy about it. I bet you’ve been waiting for a chance to get to be alone with me so you could do whatever you want” I yelled feeling worked up.

“I have told you to watch how you speak to me Anna. I might be a nice person but that doesn’t mean you’ll spit out whatever you wish”he said angrily and I flinched.

His eyes expressed anger. He was angry about such a little issue.

“Why are you angry? I was only joking”

“Joking. You’re making it look like I’m a bad person or am Interested in you.”he yelled again.

“There’s no need to be angry be guy”

“Just get out”

Diego’s POV.

How could She say such a thing? We both don’t want to have anything to do with each other. I don’t like and she doesn’t. I’ve noticed she’s becoming too clingy to me and I even decided to stay away from her.

She keeps telling me that I always want to touch her. Although I do, I won’t let her mock me.

I had a change of clothes, sitting in my room as I worked.

I miss my house in Italy, it has a very big office. Although this house had an office I still won’t be comfortable working in the office.

Just as I worked Brianna switched on the television in the room and started watching a movie so loud. I was trying to concentrate but the movie sounded interesting.

I kept my laptop and my phone down then moved to the bed.

I went for the bowl of popcorn and I started eating them.

“Don’t touch pop corn”she yelled, taking the bowl away from me.

“Anna. Common I also want to watch this movie and watching movie in this way is stupid.

“What do you mean?” She frowned taking her eyes from the TV.

Standing from the bed, I locked the door, shut the window blinds. Increased the Air conditioner. Switched of the light and sat back on the bed.

“This is how you should watch TV” the room was damn quiet as she stared at me with a perplexed look on.

“Now sit properly” I ordered and she did so. She sat resting her head on the bed rest. I used the duvet to cover us up and placed the Popcorn in our middle.

“You didn’t get drinks and this popcorn won’t be enough”I sighed.

“I’ll go get some” she smiled then climbed down the bed.

After some minutes she came back with two packets of Popcorns and a bottle of wine with two cups.

“This should do” she said and dropped them on the bed, then walked back to the door to lock it up.

Soon we were watching the movie and it felt so cold, the atmosphere was becoming cold.

I kept squeezing my feet under the sheet. At intervals I would look at Anna, her eyes were locked on the TV screen.

The whole room was quiet. I never watch romantic movies but this one was good. We sat comfortably watching it.

“I never knew you enjoyed romance like me”she smiled at me.

“I don’t but this is kinda good”

“Hmmm”

The movie went out and soon the main leads were kissing. It wasn’t like they didn’t kiss since we started it. They did but this was so deep. They were stripping themselves and it only made me squeeze my feet and hands.

I moved my hand to Anna’s lap slowly and started smooching her soft laps. She noticed but didn’t react.

She stared at me the moment she felt me pulling closer. I used my hand to draw invisible lines around her waist.
