CEO’s Romantic Affair

Brittany asked Jeremy to bring her to Cliff’s wedding this time. She told Jeremy what happened between her and Keith last time and claimed that she wanted to apologize to Keith sincerely. She also explained that during summer vacation was to make money so that she could pay for the damages caused by scratching Keith’s car. Of course, she also admitted another intention of her: she would like to communicate with the cultivated and distinguished guests who were going to attend the wedding.

“Hey, I’m Jeremy’s female companion. He asked me to come over and take care of you. Do let me know if you need anything. I’d love to help.” Brittany said politely with a smile.

Suddenly, Brittany became enthusiastic. She was sitting opposite Cathryn.

Brittany failed to accost Keith last time. She had a nameless grudge against Cathryn. She took advantage of the fact that Keith hadn’t announced the relationship with Cathryn in public yet. So she used some offensive words. But there was still some room.

Knowing that she couldn’t avoid this, Cathryn just responded accordingly. Brittany had no idea how to continue with the conversation at the moment.

What does Cathryn mean? If the gossip is groundless, does she mean that Keith is not single? But if Keith is not single, is she his girlfriend? Or is it someone else? Brittany wondered.

“The information that employees have passed on is grounded for sure. After all, maybe they meet Mr. CEO more often than you meet him.”

Brittany smirked again with a contemptuous tone.

Hearing what she was saying, Cathryn looked at her for a long while. Brittany’s expression showed more and more complacency. Cathryn felt a bit sad for her and wondered how Jeremy would bring such a woman as a companion.

“Keith.” Looking over Brittany, Cathryn called. “It’s said that you’re single. Could you please come over and clarify it?”

Hearing Cathryn’s words, Brittany suddenly became stiff. She widened her eyes and seemed not to believe what Cathryn said. She turned back just to see that Keith and Jeremy were coming up.

All of this was, in fact, Jeremy’s plan. Ever since Brittany hooked on him, Jeremy knew this woman was a bitch. He didn’t bother to disclose it when she was always acting in front of him. When she required him to bring her to Cliff’s wedding last night and told him about the story between her and Keith, an idea popped up in his mind.

Jeremy knew how Keith felt for Cathryn the best. As an old friend of his, Jeremy even felt anxious for Keith sometimes. The two were obviously affectionate to each other.

But Keith had been too careful to confess that.

When they arrived, they didn’t expect Cathryn to look as usual. She called Keith and started the former conversation.

Due to the quick pace, Keith’s heartbeat was a little bit disordered. He looked at Cathryn and gradually calmed down. He walked to her side directly and cuddled her shoulders. This move is clear enough to refute the rumor.

“My employees all know that I’m not single. Those who think I’m single are definitely not my employees.” Keith explained.
