Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 744

Back at the hospital, Rosalie was supposed to be undergoing a minor surgery.

However, due to her condition, the surgery had become complicated. Given the complications that arose, the surgery took six hours before it finally came to a close.

Sebastian waited to the point of exhaustion, his heart in immense pain at every moment.

When the doctor walked out of the operating theater, Sebastian dashed toward him and asked, "Doctor, how is she?"

The doctor pulled off his mask, and exhaled long and loud. He said with a nod, "The surgery was a success. The mother and child are both safe.”

Sebastian couldn't believe his ears. He was in a daze as he stared blankly at the doctor.

The doctor raised a hand and waved it in front of Sebastian. "Mr. Carter, are you alright?"

Sebastian suddenly collapsed on the floor with a dull thud.

"Mr. Carter, are you alright?" The doctor reached out to hold him.

"I'm fine,” Sebastian said with a wave of his hand. "I was just too happy."

He suddenly laughed, and then started crying. The sudden mood swing made him look like a madman in front of the doctor.

He was probably too happy to hear that the mother and child were both safe.

"She's fine, she's fine..."

Sebastian wiped his face hard, as if trying to erase the fatigue on his face.

Just then, Rosalie was wheeled out of the operating theater by the medical staff. Sebastian stood up from the ground, and rushed over. "When will she wake up?”

Rosalie was still unconscious, with the anesthesia still in her bloodstream.

The surgery had exhausted the entire medical team.

The doctor said, "She needs a good rest right now, and will probably wake up tomorrow morning. Take good care of her once she wakes up. She cannot afford to be overworked or get agitated."

Hearing the doctor's words, Sebastian's eyes flashed. He nodded and said, "I got it. Thank you, Doctor."

Rosalie was wheeled to the ward. Sebastian sat on the bedside, holding her hand. His heart broke at the sight of her looking so weak and haggard.

'Theodore Spencer,' he thought, 'This

is all your fault! If Rosalie hadn't

snuck out to see you last night, the

e

complications wouldn't have occurred during the surgery.at's all your fault!'

Thankfully, he told the doctor to push the surgery forward.

Otherwise, if they had to wait for a few more hours for the surgery, the situation might have been worse.

Rosalie must have been provoked by Theodore, which put her in a bad mood and caused the complications during the surgery.

'Theodore Spencer, you bring bad luck to Rose!' Sebastian thought silently to himself, wishing he could kill Theodore himself.

That man was so hardy. Sebastian wondered where he was right now, and if he was even alive. If he were really dead, it was considered a good thing.

"Rose, I won't let anyone else hurt you again. I'll protect you well."

He held her hand, and kissed the back of her hand gently. "I love you."

Sebastian reached out to caress her belly through the sheets. "This is my baby, and he'll call me dad in the future. Theodore Spencer isn't fit to be his father."

Just then, Yvonne walked in with food. "Seb."Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Sebastian turned around. "Vonnie, you're back."

Yvonne had come while the surgery was still underway.

In the afternoon, Yvonne noticed that Sebastian hadn't eaten, but the operation was still ongoing. As such, she went out to get food for him.

When she returned, she realized that the operation was over and hurried over to the ward.

“Seb, eat something. You didn't eat lunch just now."

It was already one in the afternoon.

"I don't have much appetite. I want to be with Rose."
