Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 774

Sydney left the hospital in a daze, her mind in turmoil. Wesley had called her numerous times, but she ignored every ring, sobbing into the steering wheel.

Finally, when the ringing became unbearable, Sydney answered the phone with a snarl. "Wesley, stop bothering me. Meet me at the clerk's office at 9.30 AM tomorrow. I'm filing for divorce!"

After her outburst, she slammed the phone onto the seat with frustration. Her marriage was beyond repair.

Geoffrey had violated her, and she had just learned that Sebastian was her son. The situation was a chaotic mess. Continuing her marriage with Wesley would only complicate things further. The best course of action was to divorce him as soon as possible.

Even if she divorced Wesley, she had no intention of being with Geoffrey. She just wanted to simplify the tangled relationships.

She should have divorced Wesley long ago, but he had clung to her persistently. She resented him deeply for his infidelity and the way he had treated her.

Yet she couldn't help but think back to the first time she met Wesley, over twenty years ago...

"Don't come any closer. Back off!"

Sydney was cornered by a group of thugs, her whole body trembling. Her heart pounded as if it might burst from her chest. Her breaths came in sharp, frantic gasps, and her lips quivered with fear. Her eyes were wide with terror and helplessness.

She felt completely out of control, as if the entire world had distorted into something unreal. Her mind was overwhelmed with horrifying images, making it impossible to think or react.

She wanted to struggle, to escape, but there was no way out.

"Hey, Sydney, weren't you so proud and aloof? Too scared now, huh?"

Sydney was renowned for her beauty on campus, a well-known figure across all faculties. Yet she was known for her cold demeanor, indifferent to

men.

She tried to run, but the men pinned her against the wall.

"You can forget about escaping! We'll teach you a lesson today. Let's see if you're still so proud!"

With a ripping sound, the thugs tore at her clothes, pinning her against the wall. They began to touch her.

Sydney closed her eyes in agony, struggling desperately. "Let me go! Help! Help!"

"Do you all want to die?"

A cold, authoritative voice suddenly cut through the chaos from behind the thugs.

The men turned to see a tall, commanding figure appear in the alleyway.

"Who are you? Mind your own business and get lost!"

"This is my business now," Wesley said with a sneer, stepping forward with purpose.

Sydney shook her head. "I'm fine. Thank you."

She looked up at Wesley, his face chiseled with determination and resolve, his eyes sharp and intense.

Suddenly, her vision blurred, and she lost consciousness.

"Miss, wake up! Wake up!"
