Family is everything”, he muttered lowly, memories of his mom coming into his head.

He sighed softly. He needed to find his mom, there were lots of questions that needed to be answered, and only his mom could answer them.

His mom had left without a goodbye, he wondered why she had left him just like that, he needed to know the reason why she left him. That’s why he needs to make sure Hannah starts living with him.

The earlier they stay together as a couple, the quicker he finds his mom. He thought.

“What do you want?” Hannah’s voice echoed from the phone.

“I’m not giving you any fucking time. I’m giving you just today to tell your kids about it or I’m not going to help your company” Brandon said in a cold voice.

“What? Are you threatening me?” Hannah asked as she felt angrier.

“Don’t take my words for granted Mrs. Mackenzie, I mean every bit of what I say. I would advise you to act like a gentlewoman and when my PA comes tomorrow, you can take whatever you want to take and come with him” He said and with that, he ended the call.

Immediately after he ended the call, Hannah groaned angrily.

She needed him for their company and whatever he had said, he seems like he meant it. She needed to tell her kids about the marriage today.

Oh goodness! This is not going to be an easy one, she thought as she almost cried wondering what would be the reaction of the kids.

“I hate you, Brandon Colby!!” She groaned and threw her phone on the bed and covered herself with the duvet.

Meanwhile, Rhoda is seen staring at the interior design of the big Mansion Liam had brought her to.

“Oh my goodness! I’m I going to start leaving here?” She asked happily, still in shock.

“Yes and here is your card. There’s a lot of money on the card plus your payment. You can buy anything you want and make sure you are comfortable” Liam said and gave the card to Rhoda who opened her eyes wide in shock.

She couldn’t believe she has become rich overnight, just because she pretended to be someone else.

She then began to wonder who the actual person was that was raped by Brandon Colby years ago.

Whoever it was must be lucky to have a taste of the young CEO. She was gonna do everything in her power to find that person and get rid of her in the future because she’s taken her identity now.

“The driver will bring you a new car. And make sure you get everything you want and feel comfortable” Liam paused and continue

“You have to stay far from Brandon whenever you are around him and make sure you make no contact with him. And make sure no one finds out about our agreement else we are both dead” Liam said And Rhoda nodded.

“Oh, I promise you, no one is going to find out about it. I seriously can’t believe I’m rich now” Rhoda said happily and Liam stared at her weirdly.

“I’ll be on my way now,” Liam said as he checked the time on his phone.

“Why? So soon?” Rhoda asked

“I have some work at the office I need to attend to…. Make yourself feel comfortable and call me if you want anything” Liam said and Rhoda sighed softly and seductively moved towards him.

“Why don’t we have a drink together before you leave,” Rhoda said as she tried touching Liam’s chest but he held her hands immediately and dropped them back.

“Don’t make me regret giving you this job” Liam said and with that, he left.

“You won’t regret it” Rhoda rolled her eyes and collapsed on the couch in the sitting room.

This house is so big, I’m the one that’s gonna be staying here. Nah!! I need to employ a maid to help me cook and clean because I can’t do anything. I need to start living like a queen now.

She thought as she smiled devilishly. You’re gonna regret throwing me out of the house and taking my son away from me, Jeff.

I’m coming for you and Hannah. I’m going to make you all pay for separating me from my son, and I promise I’m going to ruin you both lives as I did years ago, she thought as she scoffed gently.

Meanwhile, Jeff is seen sitting on his bed in his room, trying to find the location of Hannah.

He didn’t have her contact and there was no way he could reach her. He just wanted to speak with her and beg her for a second chance.

He’s done what she wanted, he’s pushed Rhoda out of the house and filed for divorce already, and he’s hoping Hannah gives him a chance to make up for hurting her in the past.

Just then the door to his room burst open revealing his son, David.

“Daddy” the little boy called out with teary eyes.

“David, what’s the problem? Why are you crying? Come here” Jeff said and opened his arms.

His son walked towards him and hugged him tightly.

“I want mommy” Little David voiced out in a sad tone. He had refused to go to school this morning and Jeff had no option but to let him be. He just didn’t want him to cry that much.

“David, I told you mommy is never coming back. She’s a bad mommy. I’m going to get you a new mommy and you’ll like her very well.

She’s beautiful and kind-hearted. She loves children so much and she’s going to make you happy” Jeff said as memories of Hannah came rushing into his head.

He remembered the first day he had met Hannah, it was in front of a big restaurant, and she was surrounded by kids. He fell in love with her the first time he set his eyes on her.

Just then he heard his phone ring jolting him out of his thoughts.

It was a call from his private investigator.

He quickly answered the phone call.

“Any news about my ex-wife?” Jeff asked, he had asked his private investigator to find out everything about Hannah and where she lives.
