The Alpha who was almost as tall as Elijah, was impeccably dressed as always. His sharp features and piercing blue eyes exuded an air of authority, leaving no room for defiance. His blond hair that very much resembled Zach's was slicked back perfectly, and not a single wrinkle marred his tailored suit. Everything about him spoke of power and precision, the embodiment of a man who tolerated no mistakes. His current appearance was the opposite of the tame Alpha who talked to the Prince earlier.

Instead, he looked at his mother who was sitting at the corner of the study.

Zach's frustration began to ease slightly under his mother's reassurances, but he was still full of anger. He turned to his father. "Have you spoken to the Rosenthal family about this? What are they doing to fix it?"

Alpha Cris's expression remained stern as he nodded. "I spoke with Fiona's father. He assured me he would take care of the situation. However, it seems the Prince is not allowing anyone to see Fiona now, not even a maid is allowed to get close after Fiona's mother and sister failed to convince her last night," the Alpha clenched his teeth. "This complicates matters."

Zach frowned, his anger giving way to suspicion. "Why is the Prince doing this? The Rite of Kings is ongoing. He should be focused on that, not interfering in our pack's affairs."

Alpha Cris's eyes narrowed in thought. "Elijah has no reason to waste his time here unless he sees some advantage. Perhaps he thinks he can use this situation to leverage our support for his bid for the crown."

"Blackmail us," Zach muttered, disbelief flashing in his eyes. Why didn't he think of that "He's using Fiona as a pawn to get what he wants?" Elijah must have known that Zach's father favored him as he was the eldest. If the news about Zach's indiscretions would reach the other pack, Zach and Crimson Howlers would become a laughingstock. Does this mean that Elijah wanted to take advantage of this and blackmail his father for support!

Somehow, the thought made him smirk. "Foolish prince," he said. It was well known that Alpha Cris is not supporting any Prince yet, however, using Fiona to blackmail him would be very thoughtless and a little stupid.

Did he really think the Alpha would succumb to his pressure? His father was one of the mightiest Alpha in the US! There is no way that he would let Prince Elijah control him!

A knock on the door interrupted them. An omega entered, her head bowed in respect "Your Highness, Alpha, the Prince has summoned everyone to the main hall."
