Chapter 103: chopping onions

I imagined if I let Andrei lead me on again Drake will be coming inside and bust us again. That's

awkward. I don't really enjoy my brother seing almost naked with his friend. I witness the two celebrate

in front of me. In the end, we decided to celebrate at home with my parents. We brought some more

food and drinks. Even my father ride on the happiness of the boys Andre end up drinking so much

again. So drunk he can't drive. He stayed for the night. Now he is lying sleep on my bed. You already

know what happened last night. Nothing! Andre is a downer when drunk he turns useless after alcohol.

I went out to help my Mom prepare breakfast.

Tara: Mom you started already. Can I help you with something?

Mom: I need more garlic and onions. Cut me some more.

She handed me the knife so I can get started. She plan to prepare Adobo. Make sense since it is

almost lunch anyway.

I'm not a coffee girl, so I will just wait for the food while cutting ingredients.

Tara: Same here Mom. I'm happy your here. And before that day come you can teach me cooking

some easy dishes.

Mom: Sure I will. You are old enough to settle down you should learn skills in the kitchen by this time.

Don't worry I will teach you.

Tara: Just the easy ones. And you can write them on a notebook so I won't forget about them.

Mom: I will. By the way when is the wedding going to happen?

Tara: Mom we just started. We won't be getting married soon.

Mom: You have to hurry up you are on your 30's already and your brother too. Both of you should sette

down soon. I want my grand kids asap.

Tara: Give us more time. We still have a long way to go.

Mom: I can't wait anymore.

Tara: I know... I can see it on your face. ...But Mom I really appreciate you and Dad coming for a visit. I

missed the 2 of you. It feels like I'm a kid again.

Mom: My pleasure. You are always my baby. I would love it if you will settle close to our house in the

province so I can check on my grandkids in the future.

Tara: Mom let's not talk about marriage and grandkids so early please.

Mom: As you wish.
