Chap 80
I need to see my wife
A bright sky greeted Jessica’s arrival in Singapore. After a three-hour flight by air, she and Daniel Kim arrived at Changi Airport.
Along the way, Jessica thought about Lexi sometimes, of her late future baby. If the baby was still there, she probably wouldn’t be here. She was still by Lexi’s side at Ricardo’s House. There was Mrs. Anna and Mr. Samuel who always loved her whether sincere or not.
At first she thought all the members of Ricardo sincerely loved her. However, if Lexi could pretend to love her to get a baby. Was it not the same with his parents? They were good with Jessica for wanting something.
“Elsa,” Daniel said. He grabbed his sister’s hand and led her through the hallways of the airport.
“Yes,” she said.
“Do you remember your sixth birthday party?” Daniel started the conversation. He broke the silence between himself and Elsa.
“I forgot! I hardly remember all the events when I was not yet in the orphanage!” she replied, more often looked down and did not dare to return her brother’s eyes.
“Don’t be sad, don’t look down like that. Raise your head, we’re going to see Grandpa!” Daniel said. “Are you going to see grandpa with two teary eyes?” Daniel invited Elsa to sit in the waiting room. Yes, for her, the girl who once married into the Ricardo family, but Elsa Daniar Kim. She is the only one of his sister, he loves her so much.
“Okay, Daniel” Jessica looked up, trying to widen her lips to form a smile.
“Well then.” Daniel patted Elsa on the shoulder and felt happy. He could win the mission by bringing Elsa back to the Kim family. Regarding her marriage to Lexi, Daniel was going to annul the marriage through an international trial. After that, there would be no more, something that made the little Sister who has disappeared for twelve years, continue to be in relationship with Ricardo’s family.
They both look ahead. To the figure of the man who was walking towards them. “You see him?” show Daniel.
“Who is he?” Elsa looked at the man who was about ten meters in front of her.
“He’s David Kim, my younger brother and is your older brother!” he explained.
David stood in front of them. “You guys have been waiting for so long, sorry I’m late!” he looked at Daniel and Elsa alternately.
“We have just arrived!” Daniel said. “Do you know who is next to me?” The man pointed to his younger sister who was sitting close to him.
“She is Elsa! For three years, Daniel and I have been looking for you, Elsa. Maybe we both arrived very late, but we are happy to finally meet you. Can I give you a hug?” David asked. He looked up to drown out the tears that had blocked his view.
“Sure.”
Elsa and David hugged, long enough.
David shrugged his shoulders. “Elsa, now let’s meet grandpa!” he invited. Then, the three walked to the parking area and immediately left from the lobby of the airport.
David sat behind the wheel. Daniel and Elsa sat in the back. “Grandpa in the office or at home?” Daniel asked.
“We’re going home, grandpa didn’t go to the office because he was waiting for his granddaughter to come home!” David replied with a fluffy smile on his lips.
“He’s not sick anymore, is he?” Daniel asked. Several times his grandfather pretended to be ill in order to impose a will on him.
David shook his head. Then, he focused on driving his four-wheeled vehicle towards Holland Village. An area inhabited by the upper middle class and wealthy expatriate Singaporeans also as a bohemian area to stay.
“So Elsa, we’re sorry that we were late to pick you up. About years ago, on the day of mom and dad’s death, the three of us, me, Daniel, and Grandpa came to Indonesia. At that time, Grandpa always asked me to investigate the death of our parents. At that time, we just found out that you were not a victim of an accident,” David told so enthusiastically. With the arrival of Elsa, he hoped that the grandfather would feel happier.
“Where are mom and dad?” Elsa asked until now she had not been able to accept that her parents were gone.
“In Jakarta, after your 18th birthday, we would go there to commemorate the 12th anniversary of our parents death.” Daniel, who had just been silent, began to join what his two siblings were talking about.
“When I see my grandfather, what should I say?” Elsa asked. For a moment, she began to get used to not bringing Lexi into her mind. What’s wrong with trying to forget him for a while.
“There’s nothing you need to say, Daniel will take you. I’d rather meet a pile of files than meet grandpa! So I leave this task to Daniel alone!” David answered. “Oh yeah we’ll be there soon, prepare yourself Elsa and we’ll meet again later at dinner,” he added as he stopped his car in front of a luxury apartment. Yes, the Kim Family lived in one of the penthouses.

“Booking tickets for this morning’s flight to Singapore,” Lexi said to Arsene. He predicted that the man would soon take his wife to Singapore without thinking and without putting it off any longer.
“Master Don’t be rash! Fredy Kim will not be that easy to bring you together with Miss Jessica.” Arsene did not immediately carry out what his boss ordered.
“Then, do I just have to do nothing like this! Not looking or trying to find her?” Lexi scooped his face rough. The load on his chest had not diminished in the least.
“We have to back home, we meet Mrs. Anna and Mr. Samuel, we ask the real problem. What happened twelve years ago. Once we know the truth we can determine the next step!” Arsene said firmly. Because, going to Singapore was not something that Lexi would definitely meet with Jessica.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
Lexi stood up from his seat. “I can book tickets myself!” Lexi went from sitting and walking past Arsene just like that.
“Oh, please, Sir!” Arsene stopped from standing right in front of Lexi and blocking his footsteps.
“I want to see my wife,” Lexi said emphatically with both teary eyes. He felt so sad and a little bit confused.
“You can’t come to Singapore this morning, she is not there!”
“I want to see my wife! Now!” Lexi screamed and made several people who were around them look at him.
Arsene did not give up.
Lexi lowered her head. Those tears were flowing from the corners of his eyes and wet his cheeks. “Jessica!”he said in the middle of his breathing and his sobs.
