Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 2059

Stella leaned back in her seat, silent again, looking utterly exhausted.

The car grew quiet until Beck decided to break the silence with some music.

When they finally arrived at Boris's luxurious mansion, Beck turned to look at Stella. Despite the heavy makeup, she radiated a profound tiredness.

Beck should've woken her up, but hesitated, his hand pausing mid-air before retracting it, a frown crossing his face.

An hour later, Stella finally woke up. She glanced at the time, opened the car door, and stepped out.

"Beck, thanks for the ride," she said, waving him off as she walked into the mansion.

Beck didn't linger, driving off immediately.

Not far away, Bonnie gripped the steering wheel tightly, her mind racing. She had been tailing Beck for a while, hoping for a chance to confront him, but was stumped when Beck entered a casino where she had no membership. Waiting outside for two hours, she was outraged to see Stella, that wretch, leaving with him!

Jealousy twisted Bonnie's features. She wanted to snap the steering wheel in half.

Morgan had called her several times, asking why she hadn't arrived, but Bonnie was too consumed with thoughts of Beck.

She couldn't believe Stella and Beck had been in the car together for half an hour. They were relatives, for heaven's sake! Imagining Stella's past with men, Bonnie couldn't help but suspect the worst.

Thinking about how easy Stella had it, getting to ride shotgun with Beck, Bonnie was tempted to storm into the mansion and give Stella a piece of her mind, just like old times. All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

But Stella wasn't the same person she used to be.

Frustrated, Bonnie called Morgan.

"I'm at your family's old estate. Your dad's hardly ever home. Why don't we give it a try here?" she suggested, her voice dripping with seduction.

Morgan hesitated for a moment before laughing. "You're getting bold, aren't you?"

"Are you coming or not?"

"Of course, I've never said no to you."

Bonnie then made another call to

Alan, a man with significant

influence in the North American underworld. Through Morgan,

Bonniehad met Alan and quickly got involved with him, using his

connections to target Stella.

"Alan, did you manage to catch Stella and make that video I asked for?"

"Bonnie, I was going to, but that woman has changed. You know the Sanders family's power here. I can't touch he now without considering the consequences. Plus, Stella's got some powerful connections herself, even JG's boss warned me off."

Bonnie's heart sank. If Alan was a local tough, JG was a giant in the underworld, involved in numerous shady businesses.

Alan continued, "Rumor has it she's

been with JG's boss for a couple of

months now. I wanted to make a move, but got warned off. You really should-stop messing with her. She's climbing the social ladder fast, and with her now being a Sanders, if they decide to retaliate, we're all in

trouble."

Bonnie's face contorted with rage. Alan was her trump card, and she despised his gangster status but needed his help to deal with Stella.

She took a deep breath, her voice turning sweet and manipulative. "Are you scared?"

Alan, provoked by the challenge and remembering their past encounters, quickly retorted. "Scared? I'm just worried about you."

"The Sanders family hasn't even acknowledged her."

"That's not true. They're preparing to transfer shares to her. If that happens, she'll officially be recognized by Augus Sanders, and I can't touch her unless the deal falls through." Bonnie was livid. "Alan, do you know why you'll always be just a thug? Because you worry too much!"

With that, she hung up, fuming. For so long, she had dominated Stella, treating her like a pawn. And now, she was powerless against her. What a joke.
