Angela froze for a moment. She had thought Keh would just throw the necklace away based on his character, but she didn't expect him to keep it.

He picked up the necklace and looked at Angela. "Let me put it on you."

"Okay."

Angela gathered her hair up, and Keh leaned over to put the necklace on her. The two were so close that they could almost hear each other breathing.

It wasn't like the two hadn't been this close before, but Angela's face heated up for some reason.

Keh glanced at her faintly. "Debra and Mrs. Jenkins will apologize to my wife at the banquet today. There seems no reason for me not to come."
