Opening the ornate wooden box, Chloe found an emerald bracelet nestled inside. The emerald was of exceptional quality, its vibrant green hue glowing against the light. Yet, it was encased in a gold setting-a curious choice, as anyone in the know would tell you that top-notch emeralds should never be set in gold.
