Chapter 1071 I Will Take It

Hearing his words, Maximilian raised eyes and stared at the man. Why did this man keep messing him

up?

“Well, I will take this sapphire necklace.” Maximilian said in a plain tone.

His words shocked the waitress. She doubted, “Sir, are you sure? I think you’d better have a look at the

price first.” She seemed to be sure that Maximilian was bragging.

Maximilian knew that the waitress was taunting at him, so he just laughed, “It’s none of your business.”

The waitress shot him a disgusted smile, sneering, “Sir, you have to know that you cannot afford this

necklace.”

The man added, “If you can pay it now, I will apologize in front of the present.”

“You said it, you keep it.” Maximilian sneered at the man, peering at him.

In Maximilian’s look, the man began to be worried. What if Maximilian really paid the necklace? But he

said to Maximilian, “You think who you are. You will never afford the necklace. You pauper!”

Tia had no idea what to do. If she didn’t stop Maximilian, he will lose face in front of so many people.

Maximilian took out his credit card, and said in a plain tone, “Pay by credit card.”

The waitress picked up the card in distain. She believed that Maximilian must be boasting. So she took

the credit card, saying to him, “I don’t think that you have so much money.”

Maximilian just smiled, saying nothing.

The waitress used the card reader to pay. She was shocked to find that she made it.

The air was dense. With complex looks on their face, the man shouted, “Impossible! It’s impossible.

You must have cheated on this.”

Maximilian looked at the man, “Whatever you believe it or not, the truth is there.”

The waitress regretted that she had pissed Maximilian off, after all, he can pay the necklace worth of

one million yuan. He must be somebody in H city.

Then she softened, saying to Maximilian, “Sorry sir, I now wrap the necklace for you.”

Maximilian turned to the man, smiling, “You lose. You now conduct your promise.”

The man screwed up his face, then he tried to play the fool. “I don’t know what you mean.”

“You want to break your promise?” Maximilian sneered.

With an ugly face, the man kept silent.

All of a sudden, a woman with heavy makeup showed up, and run to hug the man, kissing him on his

face, “Honey, why you walk so fast, not waiting for me.”

The man’s gaze focused on Tia, so he overlooked the woman. The woman noticed her honey was

staring at Tia, so she cannot help pinching him on his arm.

The man screeched. But he showed an awkward smile when noticing the woman, “Why you come

To be frank, the man scrupled the woman’s family. He had to distract the woman first, then he can

chase after Tia.

“You must come here for buying me the jewelries, right? I am so moved.” The woman suddenly got

excited.

The man rolled eyes. It never occurred to him that the woman thought about it this way.

Surprisingly, the necklace caught the woman’s eyes, and her eyes opened wide, “This sapphire

necklace is so beautiful.”

The waitress smiled, “This necklace is unique, but this lady has paid for it.”

Hearing this, the woman’s face darkened. She did like this sapphire necklace, but Tia had paid for it.

She felt unhappy for that, so she played coquetry to the man.
