Chapter 963 Rowen

Fighting with Maximilian, the man's brother began to realize that something was not right

with Maximilian: he could feel that this man was by no means an ordinary person. He then took a deep

breath, and decided to spare no more of his effort.

He thought that he was just previously being too unwary, and that as long as he fought back as hard as

he could this time, he could definitely take Maximilian down.

Then he rushed to Maximilian and attacked him.

Maximilian appreciated his courage and confidence. However, he didn't have much to waste and

decided to bring an end to the whole thing.

As Maximilian took further action, Erik was stunned. With a kick right on his body, Erik took a few steps

backwards staggeringly and looked at Maximilian.

At this moment, Erik's phone rang. Maximilian chose to stop the fight and left him an opportunity to put

the phone on.

Putting through the phone call, Erik in panic found that it was Rowen calling in.

"Have you finished the thing I have told you, Erik?" Asked Rowen.

"Sorry, Rowen. But I'm currently in trouble now — the man I'm fighting with is really a tough guy."

"OK, give him the phone, and I will talk to him. He may be scared and apologize if he knew that you're

my man."

"Yes, Rowen."

Erik then insolently handed the phone over to Maximilian and said, "You know what? Rowen would like

to talk to you! You'd better take the phone and talk to him right now, or you will really be in trouble!"

Maximilian laughed, and thought that it was the most ridiculous threat he had ever heard.

Without any hesitation, he answered the phone.

"Greetings, I'm Rowen." Said Rowen on the other end of the phone.

"Hello, Rowen." Said, Maximilian plainly.

"Wait, are you Mr. Lee?" Asked Rowen in a panic and anxious tone.

He had never expected that the man on the other end of the phone was Maximilian, and thought that

the situation would not be so complicated if he had ever gone along with Erik.

"I'm terribly sorry for everything, Mr. Lee, and I will tell my fellow off for everything immediately!"

"Please, no need for that, Rowen. However, I'm really disappointed to see everything that your men

have done to me and my group."

"I swear that I have no idea about everything, Mr. Lee! I will warn them, and I promise you that such a

thing will not ever happen again!"

Rowen could tell from the tone in which Maximilian talked to him that he was really angry, and if he

ever failed to solve the current issue in a proper way, the situation would be even worse.

Maximilian shook his head, and was really disappointed to see that even at this moment, Rowen was

However, he didn't want to waste any time arguing with Rowen for the moment.

"Fine, I understand, and just don't let such things ever happen again." Said Maximilian impatiently.

Erik, standing aside, was dumbed to see that Maximilian was talking to Rowen in an aggressive tone.

With sweat continuously shedding from his head, he had no idea about what was going on.

"Hey, you there, take the phone, and Rowen wants to talk to you." Maximilian smiled.

Erik could tell that something bad was going to happen from the smiling face of Maximilian, and took

the phone silently.

"Erik, apologize to Mr. Lee right now!" Said Rowen coldly.

As he heard the voice of Rowen, Erik's face turned pale and looked at Maximilian — he had never

expected that the man standing in front was exactly the one called Mr. Lee that Rowen mentioned.

After dumbed for a while, he hung off the phone and asked with a logy look on his face, "Are you Mr.

Lee?"

Suddenly, he raised his hand and slapped himself with strength, "Please forgive me, Mr. Lee! I wouldn't

have done anything like that if I knew your name!"

Seeing that Maximilian smiled helplessly, thinking that he was really an ignorant fool putting himself on

fire.

"It's OK, since we have already cleaned up the misunderstanding." Maximilian responded calmly.

Currently, he actually had no problem with Erik, but things would be a little different for Erik's little

brother.

"Mr. Lee, here is an invitation letter from Rowen. He ordered me to give it to you." Fearing

that Maximilian changed his mind, Erik shifted the topic, took out the letter from his bosom and gave it

to Maximilian.

Maximilian took the letter, and found that Rowen wanted to invite him to E Manor at tomorrow's noon.

"OK, thank you." Maximilian nodded.

Erik was surprised and a little nervous to see Maximilian greet him in such a polite manner, since he

was one of Rowen's friends. He then hastened to answer in a modest tone, "You're welcome, Mr. Lee,

and it's my honor to serve you."
