Fontana’s Pov

#The next morning at school.

“Hey, don’t you guys also thinks you should lessen up a bit in the security?. I mean, you guys are pretty much”I turned to the guards and chuckled as walked through the lobby.

They kept a straight face without saying anything.

“Okay, I need an answer”I stopped walking and they stopped also.

They faces were still void and none of them was making an attempt to reply me.

“Won’t you….”I tried saying.

“That was an empty joke, ma’am”one of them suddenly interrupted.

I scoffed and turned to the guy who’d spoken.

Seriously?

An empty joke?

Oh my God.

I smirked and moved closer towards him.

“Did you say an empty joke?”I asked.

He took his face away and adjusted his sunglass then glanced back at me.

“I mean….”

“Fontana”Darrel called from behind and I turned around.

Hun?

“Darrel…. hey”I waved at him.

The previous guy cleared his throat.

“Were you having an argument with your guard?”he asked, pointing the textbook he was holding at the guy.

“Uhm, okay. I hope you got home safely yesterday”he asked dropping his textbook.

The guards cleared their throats and I glanced back at them.

They bowed to me immediately.

Gosh.

Darrel has spoiled everything.

“Gosh, don’t mind him, he loves making joke alot”I quickly concealed my embarrass face with a smile.

“And Darrel, stop it, you jokes are getting more expensive”I nudged him playfully.

“But that wasn’t a joke, I’m serious, you came to my house last night but you have to leave so quickly because of an important issue”he feigned the most innocent face ever.

Okay. Darrel is going overboard.

“I am going to kill you”I muttered to him and demonstrated by placing my hand below my neck.

“Ki… ki… kiss?”Darrel stuttered innocently.

The guards cleared their throats more loudly this time around and I fisted my hand.

Swears. I’m going to kill Darrel.

Luckily, I saw Cassie coming from afar and I quickly waved at her.

“Cassie”I called happily.

She get closer to us and I hurriedly gave her a quick hug.

“Aww, so sorry Cassie. I left your party yesterday without informing you”I pouted and Cassie looked so surprised.

But, fortunately, the bitch was quick to grab the situation.

“I am so mad at you right now, Fontana. So mad but since you already apologized, you are forgiven”she replied.

Darrel face wrinkled up and he scrunched his nose.

“Thanks, babe. Bestie for life”I said and brought out my smallest finger and we did a pinky promise.

“Yeah, of course”she beamed.

“Bye, Darrel”I waved and started walking away with Mia.

Mia’s Pov

I stepped out of the car and moved towards the house.

A maid rushed out to collect my bag and I gave it to her.

I walked inside the house with her trailing behind me.

“Is my mom still around?”i stopped walking and asked her.

“Yes, ma’am”she replied.

“Alright, go drop my bag in my room, I have to see Mom, she’s in her room, right?”I asked.

“Yes, ma’am”she replied.

I took the second stairs and glanced beside me.

The bag fell down from her hand and I stopped walking.

“Hey!, are you crazy?, do you know how much that bag cost?. Do you think you can afford it even if you sell all the properties you have in your family?”I shouted.

“I’m sorry ma’am”she quickly apologized as she took the bag from the floor.

“You clumsy rat!”I cursed.

“I’m sorry ma’am”she apologized again.

Gosh.

I continued walking on the stairs and I recollected when I had saw Fontana in the lobby with Darrel and Cassie.

I wonder what she’s up to.

And I even heard her when she called Cassie her bestie.

Why would she call her that?

I mean, Cassie had once being her bully.

I also overhead her saying something like visiting her place.

Is that even possible?.

Something is definitely up with her and Darrel.

I need to confront Cassie and I’ll also ask Harry about it.

I got to Mom’s room and knocked on the door.

I need money to buy the new designer shoe.

Fontana’s Pov

After getting showered, I got dressed and went down for lunch.

I returned back to my room and scrolled through my Instagram account.

I followed Darrel when I came across him.

I scrolled down and down and when i can’t find something interesting anymore, I logged out.

I sprawled my body on the bed and sighed.

Why is today so boring…

A thought jingled inside my mind and I quickly sat up.

Oh, yeah.

Let me surprise him.

I got down from the bed and went to the dressing room.

I picked my black sweatpant, black crop top and a black leather jacket with a black face cap and a black sneakers.

I put it on and let my hair down then I wore the face cap.

I put on the sneakers and tied the show laces then I wore my face cap.

I exit the room and sneaked outside to the lots.

I gestured for my driver to come over and he did.

“Give me the car key”I said, stretching my hand forward.

“Huh?”he asked.

“The car keys”I rolled my eyes.

“Do you need to go somewhere?, if it was about what happened last night then I’m sorry”he apologized.

“It’s not about that, just give me the keys”I asked again and reluctantly, he brought the keys out if his pocket and drop it on my palm.

“If Sam asked about me, tell her I’ve gone out for an exercise so she wouldn’t cause a tantrum”I said.

“Exercise?, but you can’t go out alone”he replied.

God.

“You probably don’t know how it feels to have guards around you every moments, it’s annoying and I feel like I’m being caged so just let me go and besides, I’m putting on a face cap so no one can recognize me”I expounded.

“O… okay but would you at least go with some guards, it’s really not save out there”he said.

Gosh.

“I just said I want to go out as a normal girl so why would still go with some guards”I scoffed.

Just then, the guards walked towards us.

Arggg.

“Are you going somewhere?”their captain asked.

“No… yes, no…. I mean, yes. I want to go get some fresh air outside”I stuttered.

“Then you will have to go with the guards, it’s dangerous out there”he replied.

“I don’t want to. Look, I promise, I will be back before you notice and you can even put a tracker on me, I really won’t take long. I just want to have some fresh air and nobody will identify me as I am wearing a face cap”I rushed my words.

He looked at me for some minutes before nodding.

“I understand, but, don’t take too long and I won’t bother to put a tracker on you”he said.

Oh, thank goodness but just like that?.

“Uhh”another guard said.

“But, we will be in trouble if anything should happen to her”he added.

“And this will be the second time she will be going out without taking us, don’t you think someone might be watching?”another added and I sighed devastatedly.

“Let me worry about that”the captain replied them.

“Thanks”I smiled.

I walked over to the car and beeped it opened.

I got into the driver’s seat and released a breath.

I started the car and drove out of the compound.

I got on the road and put a music on.

I nodded my head to the music and sang along with the lyrics.

I followed the way the driver had taken and after a long while, I got to his house.

I parked the car Infront of the house and went to knock on the gate.

A man opened it up and stared at me from head to toe.

“What do you want?”he asked.

“I am here to see Darrel”
