Chapter 481: Mr. Brown’s Codename Is Clown
Tory dumped the cigarette butt and put it out with a heavy step before he shook hands with Stephen. “Can I see the goods?”
“Sure.” Stephen took out a small delicate bottle from the pocket of his windbreaker.
“Well, no wonder why Mr. Brown’s codename is Clown. You’re very funny.” Tory smiled all of a sudden. “I pay so much money, not for Viagra.”
“It is as effective as Viagra, but it’s ten times more addictive than ice,” Stephen said with pride and threw the bottle to Tory.
He stopped for a second, then added, “I heard Italy has low moral standards for sex. Gays could be your target consumers.”
“I need to check it.” Tory held the small bottle and looked serious.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
“There are two pills inside. They’re free, but…” Before Stephen could finish his sentence, they heard the loud engine sound of a car.
Both of them turned their heads at the same time. An armored ORV appeared on the beach and moved fast towards them.
“Mr. Romeo, don’t try it yourself. The antidote is still under research and development.” Stephen finished his sentences as fast as he could.
When Ethan received the call from Fannie, he was somewhere near the dock. He sped up, coming here but didn’t find Kylie and Fannie. Instead, he caught Tory talking with a man.
The position was exactly where Dinah had fought against Clown, so Ethan realized the two men must be trading drugs.
However, there were only two of them without any arms. It didn’t seem to be a drug deal.
Ethan didn’t get out of his car but observed them from the car window.
Tory waved his hand at Ethan, but said to Stephen, “I know him, and I can leave here safely. How about you?”
A touch of strong disdain flashed by Stephen’s eyes. “May I have a ride, Mr. Romeo?”
“No problem.” Tory pointed at his car with his head to tell Stephen to get in it.
Ethan still sat in his car, watching the man getting in Tory’s black Buick and leaving in his sight.
“Dinah, is Clown 5 feet 9 inches tall with a humpback, and weighs around 176 lbs?”
Once his call was answered, Ethan said the characteristics of the person he had just seen.
Dinah thought for a while, then replied. “The clown I saw is around 5 feet 9 inches tall, but he doesn’t have a humpback, nor fat.”
Ethan squinted. The person he has just seen must be Clown, but good at disguising.
When Fannie told him Kylie met Stephen at the dock to discuss something about him, he knew they must be talking about Adolph.
If strangers were meeting each other at the dock, it was abnormal that Clown met Tory here.
Ethan turned his car and chased the black Buick up.
Tory gave a glance at the rear-view mirror, then smiled. “It seems Mr. Brown has some trouble.”
Stephen stayed calm and wasn’t nervous at all. He pointed at a big truck stopped by the dock. “Open the sunroof when you drive by it.”
Hearing that, Tory frowned a little. Given Clown’s build, he couldn’t reach out a leg, let alone escape from the sunroof.
Drug dealers could be killed at any second, so every one of them was skilled at escaping.
Thinking of that, Tory sped up and opened the sunroof.
The big truck was 13 meters long, and his car could pass by it within just several seconds at a fast speed.
He was looking forward to seeing how Clown managed to escape from his car.
The moment Buick moved near to the head of the truck, Tory saw the fat Mr. Brown become a punctured balloon and moved through the sunroof like lightning.
A few seconds later, Buick passed by the truck, and there was only Tory alone in it now.
Tory slammed on the brakes at the next crossroads, then rolled down the car window looking at the Knight XV.
“Mr. Parker, do you want to talk about our cooperation with me? You’ve been chasing me along the way for a while,” Tory said with a smile.
Ethan, instead, looked cold. “Kind advice, Mr. Romeo. You better stay away from some business, which won’t do you any good.”
“Thanks, I will,” Tory said, then drove ahead.
Ethan was very sure that Clown already disappeared. He only knew one person who could safely escape within such a short time.
When Kylie went back to the Finch family’s house, she gave the scarf to Lucy. “Lucy, please help me clean it. I need to give it back to its owner.”
“No problem.” Lucy took it, then asked with hesitation, “Mrs. Parker, are you in a bad mood?”
“Nope, why?” Kylie smiled, pretending to be relaxed.
Lucy shook her head. “Only Mrs. Parker can affect Mr. Parker’s mood.” She licked her lips. “When I got up late last night to use the washroom. I saw Mr. Parker standing outside of your bedroom. He looked lonely.”
Kylie was struck dumb.
“Mrs. Parker, Mr. Parker, is much happier than before ever since you married him. No matter what he does, he does it for you. Please don’t blame him,” Lucy added, holding Kylie’s hand.
Kylie hugged Lucy with her jaw laid on Lucy’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. Even if he dumps me, I won’t leave him.”
“It’ll never happen!” Lucy said at once.
Kylie let Lucy go. She knew Ethan would question her about her meeting with Stephen once he was back, so she thought of an idea. “Lucy, please don’t prepare dinner for me. I’ll visit his mother and dine with her.”
“Will Mr. Parker go with you?” Lucy asked.
“If he comes back here, tell him I’ll stay there for a night,” Kylie said, then walked to her car.
She hadn’t driven it again after she was pregnant, but it was still in good condition.
The housekeeper quickly followed her up. “Mrs. Parker, do you want to drive it?”
“Can I?” Kylie looked at him.
“Um, the key is in Mr. Parker’s hand,” the housekeeper replied, lowering his head.
Kylie was surprised. “Why did he take the car key away?”
“Well, it’s Mr. Parker who’s maintaining it, and he just cleaned it this morning,” the housekeeper said.
Knowing it, Kylie didn’t know what to say.
Ethan must be doing something he didn’t want her to know, so he kept a distance away from her on purpose.
However, he stood at the door, looking at her every night. Probably he had secretly kissed her when she was in sleep!
Thinking of that, Kylie realized it wasn’t a dream, but Ethan had really been in the bedroom!
She was cheered up in an instant, and it was super easy for her to figure out what Ethan was busy dealing with now.
Therefore, she pretended to be annoyed, and said, “There must be more than one car in this house. I’m leaving!”
