Chapter 513: Why Don’t You Do It?
It happened in a nightclub that year. He fell in love with a woman singing on the stage at first glance.
In order to get her, he did everything he could to ruin her reputation until she was alienated from the industry and her family.
Right when Barbara felt helpless and hopeless, he appeared in her sight and became her life-saver.
The medicine bottle was put back on the bedside table, and the light sound interrupted old Mr. Parker’s memory. He reached out his hand to hold Barbara’s hand but only touched its back.
“I’ll sleep in the guest room tonight,” Barbara said, then walked out of the bedroom. Old Parker was struck dumb when Barbara left.

The door of Kylie’s room was pushed open in the early morning. She opened her slightly swollen eyes and said with a smile, “Morning, Pupu.”
Pupu walked to the clothes stand and bit Kylie’s sleeping gown over, then stuck out its head forward.
Kylie took her clothing. “Good dog, Pupu! Let’s go for a walk later in the garden.”
When Kylie brushed her teeth, she felt like crying, seeing the male toothbrush placed by the mouthwash cup.
He didn’t come back last night. He probably slept in the study or the guest room.
“Pupu, you’re assigned an important task, and you must fulfill it well,” Kylie said to Pupu all of a sudden.
In the gym, Ethan was exercising with exercise machines.
Although neither the housekeeper nor Kylie had told him how serious his wounds were, he had a feeling himself. Last night he was sleepless, and he tried several times to transform into his true form while staying in the secret room. He had a bad mood the whole night as he couldn’t use much of his inner power lately. Their misunderstanding is getting worse, and he can’t figure out why his inner strength gradually weakens. He wanted to seek the reason behind it and could only ask his mother, but he needed to find Stephen and Tory’s whereabouts first.
Significantly when he lifted dumbbells, he felt as if the muscles on his back were being torn apart.
Ethan put the dumbbells down and coughed hard.
The door of the gym was pushed open, but Ethan couldn’t see who was coming in.
“Get out!” He was mad in pain.
The footsteps stopped for a second, then continued approaching with timidity.
Ethan took a long breath in and straightened up his body, but he didn’t see the housekeeper, nor Kylie, but Pupu.
There was a plastic bag dangling from Pupu’s mouth. It tried to move near several times but was scared back by Ethan.
Pupu wanted to escape but felt it should finish the task Kylie assigned it.
Therefore, it made a few circles simultaneously, then put the plastic bag down on the ground before it ran away. It ran so fast like it could be killed the next second if it slowed down.
Ethan was amused. He hadn’t seen Pupu running so fast for a long time.
When he picked the plastic bag up, his eyes became gentle.
There was a clean towel and a bottle of water inside.
Kylie, who hid outside at the door, covered her mouth; seeing Ethan pick the bag up, she waved her hand to tell Pupu to leave right away.
However, when she turned in a hurry, her slipper flew down through the guardrails on the second floor.
“Ouch!” Lucy was hit by accident who just come unannounced
She picked the slipper and looked up. Kylie made hand gestures at once to tell her to be quiet.
“Mrs. Parker, what do you mean?” Lucy didn’t understand her hand gestures.
Kylie pointed at her mouth to the gym then made a big cross.
Lucy thought for a while, then figured it out. “Oh, Mrs. Parker, do you mean your throat doesn’t feel well like Mr. Parker? I’ll prepare some soup, which is good for your throat right now.”
Kylie gave it up and covered her face with her hands. She peered through the gaps of her fingers at the door of the gym. A tall, strong man was standing there.
Nevertheless, Ethan didn’t look at her but walked to the study.
Kylie didn’t put her hands down until the door of the study was closed. She hugged Pupu and kissed it. “Good job, Pupu! Let’s go to the garden for a walk.”

Adolph thought for a long time before he contacted Agnes.
Agnes agreed to bring him to meet Stephen, but he must wear a blindfold.
“Why?” Adolph was very dissatisfied with it, but he didn’t stop Agnes from covering his eyes with a piece of black cloth.
He felt the car started, then heard Agnes’s voice. “Adolph, do control your temper when you see Stephen later. He’s different now.”
“He’s just a kid in my eyes!” Adolph said. He raised his hand, trying to move the black cloth on his eyes, but something stuck in his waist, and he stopped without delay.
There was someone else in the car except Agnes.
“Um…” Adolph changed the subject. “Did he make things difficult for you?”
“Not at all, I just cook for him and do the laundry every day,” Agnes said, but Adolph knew she must be aggrieved.
Agnes’s body was always in bad condition, so she had never done the housework before.
It was freezing now, but she was doing what a maid usually did. It must be super hard for her.
Knowing that Stephen sent someone to guard him at the rear seats, Adolph opened his mouth again after remaining silent for a long while. “Well, he’s been working hard, and, understandably, you need to take care of him.”
“Yeah, I have the same idea.” Agnes drove the car at a steady speed, then slowed down after several turns.
Adolph was forced out of the car.
He smelt a faint smell of the sea once he got off. If they were by the sea, there should be sea wind, but why did he felt nothing?
Before he could figure it out, someone behind him pushed him forward, and he walked ahead.
The metal door closed with a loud sound, and the black cloth was removed from Adolph’s eyes.
Adolph saw Stephen sitting on the opposite sofa after he gradually got his sight back.
Stephen was wearing a red coat with a glass of red wine in his hand. The smile on his face looked scary.
“Have a seat.” Stephen pointed at the back of Adolph.
Adolph turned around, then found a hard wooden chair behind him.
On the contrary, Stephen was sitting on a soft sofa, and it seemed he was questioning a criminal.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Adolph refused to sit with a frown.
He moved a step forward. “What’s your answer to the thing I told you last time?”
Stephen pulled his lips. “Did I say I would consider it?”
“If it hadn’t been for you, he wouldn’t have been seriously injured!” Adolph raised his voice. “It happened because of you, and you have the ability to correct the mistake. Why don’t you do it?”
Stephen nodded, but his eyes were full of hatred.
“Isn’t it because Ethan is your biological son?”
