you shouldn't think of showing off. You might end up being embarrassed by putting your foot in your
mouth. Within such a short time, you wouldn't learn the correct pronunciation or accent and it would be
very embarrassing.”
Skylar sighed softly. Tobias was just too straightforward, not knowing how to mince his words.
She searched for Saorise's images on the web. Among the search results, there were news articles
about Saorise and Tobias.

The caption was a bit shocking, so Skylar clicked into the website. There are no pictures in it, just a
fictional account of the scandal.
She turned her chair around, facing Tobias and looked into his deep dark eyes. “I just remembered a

Tobias had read all kinds of news, most of which he dismissed with a sneer. “How can you believe the

Since Tobias had already said that there was no relationship between them, Skylar would seem so

Madelyn had taken three days off because her daughter-in-law had given birth. She had to go home

Skylar's culinary skills were limited to the food being well-cooked and not raw. The taste was rather odd
when dishes that should be salty were not. At the same time, dishes that should not be salty contained
too much salt. In short, she was a bad cook.
Furthermore, she would pour in tons of cooking oil as if it was free of charge.
As far as Tobias was concerned, Skylar was good company and pleasing to the eyes. He had no

Together, Skylar and Tobias went to a nearby restaurant where private rooms were available. He had
already booked one in advance.

coming over, later.”
