Chapter 762 Not So Lovey Dovey

Valerie found it interesting that Saorise and Skylar seemed to be secretly competing with each other when it was obviously unnecessary. Skylar was far inferior to Saorise. In terms of popularity and resources, Saorise apparently had the upper hand.

His popularity was not due to his performance at the talent show back then. Instead, it was because the drama, Snow City, in which he starred, became the hit of the year half a year ago. It was a drama with two male protagonists. Nowadays, any drama series and movies starring two male protagonists were so lucrative that anyone who starred in them would make money.

As many classic dramas were getting remade in recent years, the audience had been traumatized by the previous remake of Lord of the Rings.

The reason why the current remake drew so much attention even before its filming started was due to its theme and the male lead, Zayn.

On the day of the audition, Skylar auditioned for the role of Quincey Larson.

The director, Larry Zook, was pleased with Skylar's costume fitting and had the idea to get her to change into the costume of Yvonne, but the assistant director reminded, “Skylar's popularity can't be compared with that of Saorise. The investors really wanted Saorise to play the lead role, so should we still get Skylar to try it?”

Skylar had good and versatile acting with expressive eyes.

The difference between Saorise and Skylar was that the former had been acting since she was a child. changes in the plot. The female lead has a great part, and there's also a lot of romance in it. A fantasy film will now be turned into a romantic film instead, I guess.

Penelope had been following Skylar around. After coming out of the audition venue, Skylar got into the MPV. As she was running out of time, she pulled all the blinds in the MPV close so that she could get changed.

While in the car, she asked, “Won't Tobias call you at all? I don't usually see you contacting each other too.”

Skylar replied, “That's just who he is. He'll only call me when something happens. Do you think he has the time to get lovey-dovey with me? It's impossible.”
