Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 904

They were having a field day mocking the Reyes family's convoy, dragging it through the mud with their jabs.

"I used to think your racing skills were just lacking, but now it seems it's your brains that are a bit off. Offending Riley over some girl you barely know..."

Luke chuckled, and with his chubby face and big ears, he looked as sleazy as ever.

"Riley's a top coach at the TM Club. You kicked him out, and you think you'll find another decent coach on Lone Island after that?"

"Being a senior coach at the TM Club is quite something, but-" Flora suddenly let out a laugh, her eyelids lifting slightly as she fixed her gaze on Riley. Her dark eyes were captivating, like she could see right into his soul: "Are you, though?" Riley's heart did a little flip, and the smirk on his face vanished, replaced with visible panic.

"What do you mean by that?" he blurted, trying to sound tough but failing miserably.

Why would Flora say something like that out of the blue? Did she know something? No way! He had kept it under wraps so well, nobody could possibly know. Especially not Flora! This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

"What's got you all jittery?" Flora teased, her eyes locked on his, a playful smile tugging at her lips.

Even Luke noticed Riley's unease, scratching his head and turning to him, confused: "Riley, what's up with you?"

Dr. Fox was at a loss, sweat breaking out under Flora's piercing gaze.

"So, how much did it cost you to bring him to the Jones family?"

Suddenly, Flora shifted the conversation, her eyes moving from Riley to Luke.

Dr. Fox felt a weight lift off his chest.

Flora knew that breaking the contract with the Reyes family came with a hefty penalty.

"A cool million!" Luke replied, looking pretty smug about it.

A million was just pocket change to them, and having a top-notch coach from the TM Club while sticking it to the Reyes family was a sweet deal.

Flora heard this and raised an eyebrow.

Pretty rich. Pretty bold. But also pretty foolish. A million bucks down the drain.

"Now that you don't even have a decent coach, how do you plan on competing? Beg me and my dad on your knees, hand over the special medicine nicely, and maybe, just maybe, I'll consider making sure your loss on race day isn't too embarrassing!"

Adrian had had enough: "Aren't you going to get lost? Fine, guys, throw them out!"

With that, the Reyes family crew, sleeves

iet

readyed up, surged forward

ready to give Luke, Riley, and their crew a good thrashing before tossing them out!

Just then, the Reyes family's bodyguards hurried over.

"Miss, sir, there's a group outside claiming to be the new team coach."

"Oh, the main event has arrived, then we absolutely must go meet them! Riley, let's roll!"

Luke laughed arrogantly, striding towards the door.

Riley wore a mocking grin, ready to see the show. To him, a coach found overnight couldn't be worth much.

Adrian looked annoyed. Why did the new coach have to show up now, just in time for Luke to have another laugh at their expense?

Adrian trudged out, and the rest of

the team hurried after him, faces

grim. All they hoped was that the

coach Flora had found wasn't a total disaster.

Flora, phone in hand, took her time, leisurely trailing behind.
